The YEC comprises of two halls offering 5,372m² of indoor event space and is set in grounds that extend over 250 acres, providing the perfect setting to host a diverse range of events. Hall 1 can accommodate up to 2,800 people and Hall 2 can accommodate up to 1,600 people. We offer masses of free level access car parking on site and we pride ourselves in our friendly and flexible approach. As a wh

Celebrating Yorkshire Day on top of the Yorkshire Event Centre, on the Great Yorkshire Showground overlooking the Great Yorkshire scenery. 🌲 🌳

As part of our focus on sustainability, we decided to venture onto the Yorkshire Event Centre’s roof to see some of our solar panels in action. We are lucky enough to have an impressive 960 solar panels across the site that put power back into the grid!

Last Friday, we welcomed 12 PA’s to the Showground to experience a taste of the finest Yorkshire food and drink. With an overnight stay at Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate, a 5-course dinner, venue tours and a ride across the Showground on the golf buggies, we had a jam-packed evening! ⭐

Thank you to Kings Catering Company Ltd and House of Townend for putting on a 5-course tasting menu with wine accompaniments and Cedar Court for partnering with us on this fantastic trip. It was wonderful to showcase our venues and give our guests a proper Yorkshire welcome. We look forward to working with PA Life again in the future!

We love this video from Springtime Live that look place at the Yorkshire Event Centre on 23 March 2024 🚜🚀 It was a hugely successful celebration of farming, food and the countryside. We welcomed over 4,000 visitors to the Showground for this exciting event hosted by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. Our Story

YEC is a contemporary and stylish event venue located in the centre of the UK, a mile outside the centre of Harrogate.

The venue is perfect for exhibitions, corporate events, conferences and large scale dinners and awards events.

Hall 1 at YEC is the largest single event space in Yorkshire and the North East offering 4,320sqm of clear span floor area. Both Halls 1 and 2 are simple to access for event build up and breakdown, and are perfect blank canvas spaces for agents and organisers to be creative and build immersive event environments for their delegates.

There are 250 acres of beautiful and flexible external space allowing for demonstrations, automotive events or additional exhibition space under temporary structures. This space includes woodlands, private roadways and open spaces perfect for corporate incentive or rewards days.
