We have something exciting to tell you! We are giving away a free high tea!

We will be offering breakfast, lunch and drinks menu all day today (Friday) and Saturday 10 till four and Sunday 10 till 12!!!

Best to book!!!!

All you have to do is come in on either of the three days over this weekend order something from the menu and take a photo and share it on your stories and tell us what your favourite thing is about our new florist/tea room. Your name will be entered into a competition and we will announce the winner next week. What are you waiting for? We’re literally giving things away!

This is me! A florist that has a huge love for decent tea and cake so why not join the two up?!

If you haven’t visited you need to. We are open Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4pm. Working like any other florist but also somewhere you can come to have a cuppa and cake or why don’t you have lunch as we offer that too!!!

Quiche or doorstep sandwich with side salad, crisps and coleslaw, plus if you add a cake for pudding you get 50p off!!!!!

Thus weeks update and what’s on…

Tuesday 12-2pm baby meet up, join other people going through the same life chapter. Baby’s 0-11 months.

Rat pack lunch has been moved from Thursday to Friday 12-2pm this is due to a large wedding this week. Come and listen to some 50s music while enjoining your lunch.

Friday evening we have a private event, cake and cards with the lovely you can book on her website. I can’t wait to see these creations.

Drop in events -
nap, nibble and natter 0-11 month old (no toddlers) come and chat to other parents while your little one has their lunch or nap - first Tuesday of every month 12-2pm
Tea shop tarot - bring your deck and chat to other like minded people - 1st Saturday of each month - 10-11am (starting September)
Rat pack lunch - enjoy the sounds of 50s music while you chat and lunch - second Thursday of each month 12-2pm
Cake and craft - bring your tabletop crafts eg painting, felting, knitting, sewing and chat with other creatives - third Thursday of every month- 10.30am - 1.30pm

Also we have various workshops to join including painting, candle making, pumpkin in bloom and Christmas wreath making!

We offer light lunches, cakes and tea/coffee.

Open Tuesday-Saturday 10am till 4pm

My new till turned up today 🙌🏼

I’m so excited! Plus I got my paper rack up, the new shutter/mirror on the wall and the outside table and chairs!

I’m falling more in love with my new little place every day!

Tomorrow’s the open day!

Things that have gone wrong….coffee machine was wrong, till is broken, plants for the tables didn’t come, no worktop and the most major issue no sink for the hygiene people to check BUT…

We have worked around it, we will use a different machine, I’ll use a box as a till, we can do without the plants and use flowers, we have wipe clean perspex for the counter and for the first week we will use disposable cake boxes and cups.

The cakes look amazing, such a lovely selection of teas and the place is extremely better than I thought it would have been at this point.

Please note there is still another week till full opening.

Tomorrow’s open will be 10am till 3pm.
Next weeks hours are limited 12.30 till 4pm Tuesday to Friday and 9am till 3pm on Saturday.

The following week will be our planned full time opening hours of Tuesday to Saturday 9am till 4pm.

We are hosting our launch day Saturday. I’m overwhelmed by the support and interest so it looks like It’s going to be busy so we are limiting things. The hours that day will be 10am till 3pm.

Selection of teas and fresh cakes will be available to buy along with cold soft drinks (hot drinks will not be sold in our China that day)

Bouquets will not be made on the day. Pre order only or treat yourself to a token wrap.

Please remember this is a launch turned around very quickly there will be changes made next week and a whole lot more but I just couldn’t wait to meet you all.

We will also have a suggestion box where you can add ideas of cakes, groups or anything else that will make you and your friends happy.

We are not open to public yet but the first bouquet went out the door today 🩷

There is still so much to do and I’m close to a breakdown but I know it’s going to be worth it.

I have changed the name slightly to Claire’s floristry and tea room. I LOVE tea and I’m not a barista so makes sense to change this slightly🫖

I really need a plumber to help me with a sink in return for flowers, if your able to help please let me know 🙏🏼

Opening day is Saturday 10am till 3pm.
