We had an amazing time hosting a networking dinner with some fabulous people from the events & hospitality industry at Greentrees Estate () - a beautiful venue which we are very fortunate to have on our doorstep. It was truly lovely to bring so many likeminded people together to enjoy some great food.

Meet Tayler, our Assistant Events Manager, who joined the Parlour Team at the beginning of the summer. Tay is passionate about hospitality, bringing a wealth of experience to our little team, especially when it comes to our cocktail bar!

Still thinking about our party from a couple of weeks ago - reminiscing over all the fun our guests had playing lawn games and having their picture drawn by our caricaturist.

Swipe left to read another fabulous review from Tom & Lisa, who married back in July! It was a beautiful day set in the most picturesque gardens. We served canapés and aperol spritz’ in the walled gardens before a three course meal inside the barn.

On Wednesday, Parlour hosted our sister restaurant’s () 4th Birthday party.

We welcomed 100 of Heritage’s closest friends and family to , where we put on a fabulous vintage carnival themed evening with flowing cocktails, lawn games, live music, dancing, canapés, cake and more.

At the weekend, we had the honour of catering Claire & Maria’s wedding . A rainbow of colours, miraculous moments of sunshine and two very beautiful brides - a very special day all round.

We served up our sharing platters - family style feasting with chipotle braised short rib, beef sirloin, bowls filled with delicious salads & sides. Followed by our salted caramel tart, which has been a firm favourite this year.

Thank you again to Claire & Maria for having us, and for your impeccably organised MC who made sure the day ran smoothly from start to finish and of course to all your lovely guests!

Don’t get me wrong, we love a wedding - but that’s not all we do at Parlour! We’ve perfected the art of staying in, by bringing restaurant quality food and service to your home with a private dinner cooked by our talented chefs.

We will create a bespoke package just for you so it’s tailored perfectly to your preferences, then take care of all the washing up at the end. What more could you want?

Our last two weekends have been spent in the beautiful Slaugham Place, where we were honoured to be catering two spectacular weddings.

Firstly, in light blue & pink we have Hannah & Alex, who had a slightly Italian inspired day with Limoncello & Basil spritz to start and mortadella pizzas in the evening. It was a beautiful day with flowers created by Carolina from and cake by the very talented .

Next we had Kat & Rhys, who married today. Every little detail was thought of and the decor was all created by Kat and her family. The terracotta colour scheme is one of our favourites so far and we loved the saxophonist who performed during cocktail hour.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to all our couples, it’s such a pleasure to be a part of such special occasions.

A little behind the scenes shot from our banquet at the Sussex Gin Festival two weeks ago. We were delighted to be invited to cook for a lovely group as part of ’s Feasting Village.

One of the most unique venues that we work with and the location of Parlour’s first ever wedding is .

The ruins of an Elizabethan Manor House situated right on the River Ouse form the backdrop to this beautiful outdoor wedding venue. The unforgettable arches are the perfect location for your ceremony or drinks reception before moving into the pristine marquee for your wedding breakfast.

Richard & Carolina look after Slaugham Place and it is a true labour of love, with Carolina even offering her talents as a florist, with stems cut from her own cutting garden on site.

We have always loved working with the Slaugham Place team, they are as dedicated to their couples as we are. And we can’t forget Roman - who is always around to help on wedding days.

Slaugham Place hosts a number of open days throughout the year, or you can book a personal venue tour with Carolina by contacting them directly.

The Manor House makes for the perfect backdrop to the whole day and there are countless locations for both your ceremony and reception.

We are very excited to announce two “headliners” for our big party in celebration of ’s 4th birthday this summer!

First of all, will be taking over the gin bar for the night showcasing some of their signature serves and a vintage gin cocktail for you to try.

Next up, we have who will be serving up their delicious ice cream for our guests. They’ve even created a bespoke flavour for us - any guesses what it might be..?

A little round up from our first month of events this summer.

Firstly, we had Rose & Alex’s glorious wedding . The perfect event to kick off our season, across two days too! It was an incredible weekend with so many thoughtful touches (and a Mariachi band on day two which might now be featuring at Chef .23’s own wedding!)

Secondly we had Lydia & Will’s spectacular wedding at Gote Barn. We had the pleasure of working with for this one and it was such a beautiful day. Amazing furniture set ups outside from and floral displays by . Not forgetting the chip van from which were a huge hit!

We launched our first ever Parlour Presents event, celebrating Heritage’s 4th birthday (tickets on sale now…)

And finally, last weekend we had two events, a 50th birthday for Ed and a 60th birthday for Richard. Both had bespoke cocktails, canapés & bowl food and loads of pizzas for the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed both parties 🎈

Today is very a very exciting one for Parlour as we moved into our new premises! Just 15 minutes down the road from Heritage, with plenty of space to plan and prepare for all our upcoming events. We’ll be spending the next few weeks getting everything ready for our first big wedding at the end of May and we’ll show you some sneak previews of what we’ve been up to along the way too.
