A few little snippets from last weekends 2 very different weddings.
The cavendish Hotel - Eastbourne on Friday for a very emotional afternoon, but the sun came out and the couple managed to get some wonderful shots on the beach and a confetti throw on the promenade.
Saturday was at Wadhurst Castle. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love autumn and winter weddings. These rich autumnal colours caught my eye. The emerald green and gold theme was continued throughout their day with welcome signs and table plans written in gold on emerald green perspex.
And I got to work with the amazing The Dawdling Duck If you are looking for a mobile bar service for your wedding or event, I 100% recommend this company. Family run, always efficient and allround great people!

I love autumnal weddings. Good job too as I have 2 this weekend. Last one of the year for me at Wadhurst Castle on Saturday, we will be making full use of the lush winter gardens to get that outdoor feel, but under cover. Today I am at the Cavendish Hotel for the first time. Looking forward to both, coffee needed ☕️

I haven't posted for a while as my couples, venues and caterers are keeping me super busy. But this popped up on my timeline from 6 years ago. A wedding I will never forget.....the venue is unfortunately no more Tip of the day is if you are going to have a themed wedding....go all out! This Alice in Wonderland theme was so achievable with unique cake and favours. The actors really added to the experience

Absolutely loved working here on Saturday. This hanging display across the barn roof gave a really different feel to this beautiful barn. This space is so versatile. I absolutely love this venue!

There is something about hydrangeas 🥰 Those big full blooms always draw the eye...... I learnt something new this week. The colour of the hydrangea changes depending on the composition of the soil.

1st of 2 weddings for me today. Currently enjoying setting out todays bride's decor for her whilst she relaxes with her party. 🍾

The Harpist A few years back....in the middle of a torrential rain storm, I met the very talented Fiona. After making her a hot drink and heloing her into the carriage barn at Wadhurst Castle, I was lucky enough to hear her play. Rather in love with the names she gives her instruments....Vader here?!

Can you tell I absolutely love what I do?

I get to work at some amazing places such as the hip but friendly Singer Tavern Set in an old sewing machine factory, just 5 mins walk from Moorgate, their slogan is 'Tailor made to perfection' ....tailor your own cocktail hour in the underground speakeasy style bar for an extra treat after your wedding breakfast. Mine's a 'Dark and Stormy' please 😘
