Ok this is a long shot, I'm currently looking after an elderly cat who urgently needs a home. She is a gorgeous long haired ginger with arthritis and dental problems. I have taken her to the vets for a check over and she is now on medication. She will have to be on daily medication for the rest of her life and needs a quiet home as she is very timid.
Unfortunately, I cannot keep her as I already have enough pets 😔

* 100's of DVDs, bluray and box sets for xmas gifts
* Pictures, fancy dress, odds & ends
* Garden ornaments / plaques, glass paperweights & Mirano glass seahorses (£2 each)
Everything is FREE (apart from ornaments) however, if you would like to give a donation to ReactAid that would be fantastic!
Open house this weekend (21/22 Dec) 10am - 8pm at Cranford, Ferry Rd, Rosneath, G84 0RS

⛄Good news and bad news!!!⛄
Good news is I have managed to save most of the snowmen and they shall be reunited again tomorrow (Saturday) at the Rosneath Christmas Tree 🎄❤
Bad news is that 2 are missing 😪
1st one is Rhudi by Chloe
2nd one is Snowy the Ladybird By Rosneath Primary 1 - 3
The 3rd one isn't missing, however, it was made by the nursery and the rain has washed all the colour away so he is naked again!
Big ask, but I have made 3 blank snowmen, if anyone can either replicate or come up with something similar to those that are missing / naked then please let me know 🙏❤

Have just been up and collected the snowmen from the Rosneath xmas tree.
Well done to the kids who decided it would be fun to needlessly destroy something so innocent and festive that other kids had taken so much time and care to create. Shame on you!!!
I am sincerely sorry to everyone who had their snowmen in Rosneath.
As I said I have just collected them and will spend tonight trying to fix them.
You then have a choice of having yours displayed in Kilcreggan, Cove or if you want to take it home and have in your own garden, just let me know.
Again sincere apologies 😪

Update - dropped off a load of items to the lady this evening, she was so happy she felt like it was her birthday 🤗! To say you made someone very happy is an understatement! You were all so generous that she ended up with 4 pairs of slippers, so we gave the extra pairs to the other ladies in the ward!
Huge thank you to everyone who stepped up, you are all angels 😇❤

🙏 HELP WANTED 🙏
A lady in her 60's has been taken into hospital and we are trying to get stuff together as she does not have anything, nor does she have family locally and will probably be spending quite a while in hospital 😔
If anyone has any night wear / dressing gowns (approx size 12), slippers (size 3), that are in good condition but no longer needed, or if you have any magazines or ideas on things she can do to pass the time - I know she likes doing the diamond art but not sure how practical that is in a hospital?
I appreciate this time of year is a struggle as it is, but if anyone can help then we would be so grateful.
Items can be dropped off at Cranford, Ferry rd, Rosneath, G84 0RS.
Or I may be able to collect.

& FREE DRAUGHT EXCLUDERS
We shall be having a stall at the St Modans Christmas Market & Santas Grotto on Saturday 14th December, 10am - 12 noon
We shall have a Book stall; 100's of books & jigsaws for sale by donation - ALL have to go!!!
Craft stall selling garden ornaments, pet gifts & collectables.
And a table with FREE DRAUGHT EXCLUDERS (remember to take measurements in centimetres as we have different sizes) & winter coats
All monies shall be going to REACTAID

🎅 BREAKING NEWS...SANTAS COMING!!! 🎅
Santa was so upset that Friday's light show was cancelled (due to the storm) 😪
Not to disappoint him; Ann, Rhona & Alistair have organised a pop up Christmas Event this Saturday! 👏
Lots of stalls, refreshments and of course a Santa's grotto!
He is so excited (cos he loves visiting the Peninsula ❤) that he has especially changed his busy schedule so he can see all the boys and girls 🎅🤗

⛄ SNOWMAN PARADE 2024 ⛄

The Snowman Parade shall be taking place on the 14th December at the following locations and times:

Cove Burgh Hall - 10am, meet in car park
Kilcreggan - 10.30am, meet in car park
Rosneath - 11.30am, meet at xmas tree

Before then, please pm me the following info:
Name of snowman
Name of person who decorated it
Preferred location (if you have no preference of Cove / Kilcreggan or Rosneath then he/she can go to the village with the least number of Snowmen)

If you can send info asap so we can print up name tags for your snowmen.

If you are unable to make the above date / times, then Snowmen can be dropped off in advance at Cranford, Ferry rd, Rosneath, G84 0RS, and we can display them for you.

Snowmen shall remain on display until after the New Year so please ensure all materials used have been secured and are as weatherproof as possible 🙏

P.s we have two lonely snowmen left, if anyone wants to do a last minute one ⛄
