I empty it constantly so there is never anything left in it overnight. If you are that desperate that you have to resort to stealing donations, I would rather you knocked on my door and ask for help!

We would love you to have a clear out and bring along any unwanted items as every penny saves a life!
Aswell as items for the bring and buy sale and / or tombola, we will also be collecting items that Ewen Cameron from ReactAid can take out personally to Ukraine, below is a rough list desperately needed to help save more lives; in no particular order:

* ANY & ALL first aid items (doesn't matter if out of date)
* Number 1 and 2 baby milk powder.
* Paracetamol (adults & children's )
* Ibuprofen adults & children's)
* Any 3 man tents or bigger.
* Water purification tablets or lifestraw filters.

Everyday outside 4 Ferry Road, Rosneath, G84 0RR. (24 hrs a day)
For sale by donation, there is a donation box on the gate, all donations go to REACTAID.
Everything must go or will be put inwith the compost on the 1st 😞
I have the following plants left:

Coriander
Sage
Dill
Melon
Strawberries
Rhubarb
Leeks
Lettuce
Onions
Carrots (Autumn King)
Tomatoes (Alicante, Money Maker, Balcony & Piccolo (cherry)

On Saturday 5th August, I shall be organising another event to raise funds for ReactAid, in the grounds of Rosneath Church.
Like last year we shall have craft stalls / bring & buy stalls, tombola etc
Looking for crafters who would like to have a table, all that's asked is a donation to Reactaid.
If interested in a stall or if you would like to volunteer to help out for a couple of hours on the day then please pm x

NEW COLLECTION POINT
Run by the Rosneath team and is just a trial to see what the need is. If the need is there we will extend. Initially its just for collection and wont have the fresh fruit or veg untill we know how many numbers will be using as otherwise there will be too much waste.
Ideally if people want to use it they could/should be encouraged to use confidential email to let us know they will be there to collect bags as we dont want to disappoint anyone. But also the 2.30 close means if we run short we can always get bags driven across to cove from rosneath foodbank before it shuts( we have emergency bags held at Rosneath for out of hours emergencies)

🎶 Boxing Day: 10am - 6pm
🎶 27th: 10am - 6pm

🎶 31st: 10am - 6pm

Please note this is unmanned, there is a flashing red button at right of garden that when pushed shall activate a Christmas musical light song; simply push when finished to play another.
Please do not enter the garden and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

FREE of charge, however, any donations to ReactAid can be posted into the donation box, attached to the gate.

Also taking collections of any unwanted medical / first aid items.

Well that's it folks! It took a few months, but I have finally cleared my house and garden (and Bryan's garden!) of everything associated with Rosneath Events! (Can't believe how much there was! 😫)
Huge thank you to everyone who has made it easier for me, especially the kids groups / schools etc.
I'm just so grateful that everything will still be used and that the kids will still benefit ❤
Thank you also to Sheena, Joy, Anne, Christina, Katy, Stewart & Laura for taking Christmas decorations for the villages, it will be lovely to see the kids decorations getting spread around 🤗

XMAS ITEMS FREE TO TAKE & WANTED!
From 10am on the 17th, until 6pm on the 20th September, at 4 Ferry Rd, Rosneath, G84 0RR

FREE: (outside in garden) I have ornaments, cards, stockings, soft toys, lights, decorations etc.
I've also got non xmas items as I've been having a clearout!
Bring a bag and help yourself.
(I shall be putting out a selection each day so everyone gets an opportunity)

WANTED: If you have any xmas items you no longer need then please drop off (or leave on doorstep) before the 20th Sep, as there are local groups who are desperately looking for trees / tinsel / baubles which I can pass onto them x

These were used for decorating the village Xmas tree, aswell as lampposts.
There are loads so if anyone from any of the Peninsula villages or Garelochhead or Rhu would like to take a load to decorate their village then please pm me.

After taking a few months off to evaluate, I have decided that I am left with no choice but to close Rosneath Events.
I started beginning of lockdown to try and give the community a little positivity, during what was a very difficult period for everyone.
Fortunately, lockdown is now over and most things have returned to normality; the community council, groups and other organizations etc therefore, there is no longer a need for Rosneath Events.
When I get round to it, I shall empty my attic of all the xmas stuff, for whoever's wants to take over the xmas tree decorations.
Thank you to those that have volunteered and supported me, and thank you for all the wonderful friendships I have made as a result 🤗
