A little insight about Bricks

I am a mum of 3 children, one of whom has SEN and I have worked with children and families for over 25 years. I decided to set up my own business 2 years ago to do something that I feel passionate about and that is building up children’s self esteem and confidence by providing an environment where they can feel safe, to express themselves and be creative and support them, especially for those that have to face challenges in their young lives, struggle with social interaction, have SEN or simply for children that enjoy quieter activities and have a love for Lego. Lego is a lot more than just building blocks, there are so many benefits such as: developing problem solving and mathematical thinking, develops persistence, promotes fine motor skills, encourages team work, improves creativity, communication and listening skills, self esteem and helps to develop lateral thinking and planning skills :-)

I also welcome volunteers and paid staff age 18-25yrs with SEN to join my Team to enable them to build on their confidence in a working environment, all that is required is to have a love of lego and enjoy working with children. if anyone is interested in further information please do contact me.

In March I launched BRICKS Lego parties which caters for all Lego loving children and each party is tailored to the individual needs and likes of the party child. I also run exclusive SEN parties where I will come to meet the family and child, provide a story board of what your child would like and ensure I understand each child’s needs to provide them a wonderful day

I also run Lego sessions for community groups, half and full day workshops for primary schools and community events :-)
