There's an art to chopping veggies and at Fingers and Forks we take it seriously. Have you perfected the ‘rolling chop’ technique yet? Let us take you through it.

1) Grip the Knife: Hold the Chef’s Knife handle as if shaking hands, with your index finger near the top side.🔪

2) Hold the Vegetable: Form a claw with your other hand, keeping fingers and thumbs turned inward for safety. 🫑

3) Position the Knife: Rest the blade against the knuckles of your first finger joint.

4) Start Chopping: Press downwards to cut, keeping the knife tip on the board. Push the blade down and forward, lifting slightly to repeat.

5) Maintain Control: Gradually pull your claw grip back along the vegetable, keeping your fingertips safe.
6) Build Speed: Start slowly and increase speed as you gain confidence.

We were overjoyed to be chosen to cater for G&C's big day 💕. Experience the enchantment of C&R's wedding, where their love story came alive through an exquisitely styled reception. We crafted a culinary journey that not only celebrated love but also left unforgettable memories. From delectable canapes featuring Seared Chiltern beef sirloin with mustard bearnaise to Wye smoked salmon with chive Cotswold cream cheese, the perfect combination of flavours delighted every palate. Guests indulged in mini scones adorned with strawberry preserve and clotted Cotswold cream. The sharing starter presented a vibrant array of Grilled Mediterranean vegetables, cumin spiced hummus, and more, served with flatbreads and a medley of delicious accompaniments. The part-plated main course was a culinary masterpiece, with Chiltern lamb leg basted in Durban spices, a Chakalaka vegetable and bean salad, and an array of flavoursome side dishes.
