🎉 We are proud to have once again achieved accredited member status from ESSA.

Maintaining our membership involves a rigorous evaluation, ensuring we are demonstrating a high level of safety management. The independent audit, based on PAS91, SSIP core criteria, and ISO certifications ensure we are meeting our "reasonable steps to assess competence" requirement under CDM legislation and also fosters a safer work environment.

Giving our partners the confidence in our standards of work, professionalism, and a safety-oriented culture. The accreditation is an invaluable stamp of approval. 🙌

👀 In the last few years we have shifted our focus to supporting large agencies in delivering the best stand builds for some huge brands at global events.

It means that we can maximise our capabilities on delivering the highest quality of work, in the timelines specified, and ensure that our sustainability goals for the events industry stretch beyond our direct customers through to our network of brilliant agencies. There are some key customers that have continued to work directly with us year upon year. They know us, our team, our design and build capabilities, and we are delighted to be able to keep supporting them at their global exhibitions. 🌍

While we had several of our team at Farnborough International Airshow supporting agencies, we were there for two of our direct clients as well - Ionbond and DECA. The stands were well received by the team and the visitors.

⏳ Over half way through the year, the first 7 months have flown. They have been full of exciting new projects as well as working with many of our long term clients and agencies.

🚀 It feels like our feet didn't touch the ground in May, June and July.

We ended July at Farnborough International Airshow, one of our busiest periods so far with multiple projects to complete on site. We were at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre back in May with Thales at CNE, here is a quick look at what we did for them there.
🌎 We also built stands in Bucharest, Berlin, Paris and Denmark!

The event locations have all been a pleasure to work with and the stand builds have been loved by those on site, we can't wait to share more from the rest of the year.

Day three at Farnborough International Airshow and it has been a great show so far.

Two of the projects that we have worked on are the stands for Ionbond and DECA. Both of these organisations have sustainibility as one of their key themes at the show. This is one of the reasons that they chose us to work with because sustainability is at the core of our operations. We are taking significant steps to improve sustainability in the events industry and it is being noticed by the brands and agencies that we work with. Of course the quality of build, great design and ease of project delivery was, as always, something we exceed expectations on.
The team have been on hand for any questions or additional support needed mid show but, as expected, nothing has been needed so far.

Soon we will be getting ready for 6 weeks of work to be taken down in under a week once the show is complete!

🎉Welcome to Farnborough International Airshow 2024!

The team have been working non stop over the last 6 weeks to get the 11, yes 11, projects that we have been building ready for over 74,000 visitors from 102 countries to flood this iconic venue. This year the show is focussed on 6 key themes, each offering a unique message that is pivotal to the aerospace industry today:

The projects we have been building include pavillions, hospitality suites and stands and we can say that it is an impressive display for the aerospace industry.

⌛ This time next week we will be half way through the biennial show that helps build new connections, engage those in the aerospace industry and pioneer change.

Farnborough International Exhibition and Events Centre is an impressive venue and one we have had the pleasure of working at for many years at various events held there. The International Air Show is perfectly placed there and has continued to grow in size and impact.

🛠️ 👷 This year our trusted teams are supporting brands and agencies to get 11 projects completed for the show. These range from the international pavilions, to the hospitality chalets and branded stands. We know that it has been a mammoth task over the last 6 weeks, but it will be worth it once the brands and visitors see the spaces that we have helped create.

✈️ Not long to take off now, just 5 days to go!!

Two weeks ago we were at Eurosatory in Paris. Seeing over 2000 exhibitors from 62 countries come together at the global event for the defence and security industry was great to be a part of.

As 62,000 global visitors flooded the stands, pavilions and hospitality suites, we were delighted to see the hard work we had put into building these spaces showcasing those organisations and brands. Taking potential customers on a journey through a brand story, providing much needed functional meeting space (to make new connections or progress projects), and giving organisations a chance to cut through the noise with a wow factor stand.

Delivering on these projects is what we do best, on time, in budget, fully project managed and to the highest standards. If you want to know more about what we can do to help get in touch.

The countdown to FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW has started - 33 DAYS TO G0.......

✈️ Interface are in full flight with our team of 40 people already with security passes and ready to go. Farnborough is the worlds leading airshow and brings together aerospace, aviation and defence organisations across exhibition halls, hospitality suites, and international pavilions . All of which we are delighted to have a hand in creating for some of the biggest names there.

👷 It may not look as impressive right now but the initial build has begun, we have around 30 people already on site with the rest of the workforce busy in the workshop. The workshop are continuing to put the final touches to the stands and branded displays. Ensuring that the creations are ready to be delivered to site so that we keep everything on track and on time.

To keep the projects stress free for our clients and agency partners the 'Farnborough Project Team' has taken up residence on site and will be there for the duration of the build, as always they will be 'hands on' at all times assisting in the ever evolving stand build. We can't wait to see the results.

It has been great to be back at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference centre this week working at the official UK Government global security event with one of the biggest names there.

This world class event has been a brilliant opportunity for the brands there to meet some of the most influential decision makers in their field. We are proud of the stand the team have been working on for Thales, here is a peek of the stand, we look forward to sharing some official show shots soon.

Who is heading to Transport Ticketing Global at London Olympia today? The doors opened at 8am, ready to welcome a global audience looking to network with the leading authorities in smart ticketing and a host of mobility experts. We have loved working on another stand for one of the leading organisations at the show.

This is the stand a few weeks ago at the warehouse while we built it up to check everything looked exactly how the client expected. If you are there let us know what you think of the stands.

This was the view from the workshop last week as the team unloaded a trailer from one show, and reloaded to head off for the next! Amazing turn around in one morning thanks to our brilliantly organised team. Also helped along by the kind British weather and that sunrise.

😮 January has flown by and we are just reflecting on what a busy year 2023 was for us here at Interface, and what our plans are for this year!
We had the pleasure of working on high spec builds for global agencies, working with their amazing design teams and project managers to deliver over and above on their vision, creating show stopping stands for some brilliant brands!
♻️ A big part of last year involved increasing our sustainability credentials, which will continue to be a big focus for us in 2024. Our first major investment into this was back in July 2023 when our briquette pressing machine arrived! All our waste wood, cardboard and paper has since been converted into briquettes which provides efficient heating throughout our warehouses. We will be sharing more information on this in the coming months, for now here is a picture of the machine in situ!
✈️ 👣 We have also been working on reducing our travel carbon footprint, with our team jumping in to a minibus and driving off to our European shows, and booking group journeys to and from the airport when we needed to fly, as well as carpooling for the daily commute.

This time last week the doors were opening on LAMMA 24 and it is safe to say it was a success! We were delighted that we made the stand build process as straightforward as possible so that Peter and his team could concentrate on making new connections at the show, safe in the knowledge everything to do with the stand was in safe hands.

Looking forward to LAMMA 2025 already!

We are pleased to welcome another new team member Adam, who has joined us bringing with him a wealth of experience in CAD design and project management. He is helping the agencies and clients we work alongside to deliver on some amazing exhibition stand designs, on time, in budget and to the highest standards.

We are confident that Adam will be a positive addition to the team, and he is looking forward to being part of our upcoming projects.

We want to extend a huge welcome to Elaine who joined the office team a few months ago.

She has hit the ground running and has been getting to grips with and reviewing our procurement procedures so we can continue to deliver the best possible service to everyone we work with. As a team June and Elaine manage all of the general office duties (there are plenty), keeping us organised and staying on top of our important ESSA accreditation goals. We are so pleased to have Elaine as part of our team and we know that she will be a valuable asset to the business moving forward.

When we combined our head office (which was in Henley on Thames) with our workshop (which is in Harefield) we did so because we know that being all together in one space would improve the service that we can provide to those we work with. ✈️The @fiafarnborough breakdown was in full swing last week and we managed to snatch some footage of the stands arriving back at Interface HQ! 👷‍♂️The process was no small feat and the whole takedown took about 6 days, which is super quick when you know it took 6 weeks to get everything built and perfectly ready for the visitors at the global event. We brought everything back on our Interface vans and then the behind the scenes work started; carefully checking, sorting and packaging everything that we can for storage. We will store and reuse as much of the stand build materials as possible. LAMMA 2024 is starting this week. The UK's premier agricultural machinery and technology show at the NEC Birmingham opens its doors tomorrow! The team are already there building the stand and making sure everything is perfect for CEAT Tyres so they will be ready to wow the visitors and showcase their brand.
