We have delicious fresh Dexter beef boxes arriving back from the butcher on 3rd March 2023.
Grass fed, rare breed, Dexter beef, born and reared on our smallholding in Northumberland - it doesn't get much more local! This delicious beef is highly marbled and full of flavour. Minimal food miles and produced sustainably alongside environmental schemes on our smallholding.

It’s starting to feel very Christmassy ahead of our festive floristry course this weekend!
Wreaths, stair garlands and more. If you fancy a day off decking the halls we still have two places left on our Friday course.
£75 including a delicious two course lunch and a day of creative fun making your own Christmas centrepieces as well as learning how to make wreaths and garlands.

That’s our festive food courses done for November. Another fantastic group of guests yesterday with smiles all round.

We are looking forward to welcoming our first two floral groups next weekend.
Saturday is fully booked but we still have a couple of places on Friday if anyone fancies a day out creating their own floral Christmas display and learning how to make wreaths and garlands to swag down the stairs. With a yummy lunch included too of course!

Ready to get in the festive spirit?
Learn how to decorate your home beautifully this Christmas on this one day course. The perfect festive day out.

Rosie and Dee will show you how to create your own festive centrepiece which you can take home after the course. After a delicious two course lunch with refreshments they will then demonstrate other simple but effective ways to deck the halls this Christmas.

The course includes all materials and flowers for your centrepiece display, tea and coffee on arrival, lunch and a tour of the many gardens at Southlands Farm.

Starting to stress about cooking and hosting this Christmas. Need some new ideas of what to cook throughout the festive season?
This course might just be for you...

Master effective crowd-pleasing recipes that can be adapted easily depending on what you have in the cupboards.
Create starters and puddings which can be prepared in advance and exquisite canapés which only use minimal ingredients.
Finally, learn how to plate up food beautifully to wow your guests!

The course will be held on Friday 12th November and will be repeated on Saturday 13th November.
The courses run from 10.30am until 3pm and include tea and coffee on arrival, and a two course lunch with refreshments.
