Michael Mosely recommends Dance for health. Amongst other interesting things the neuroscientist interviewed says humans are unique in having ganglia from ear to leg hardwiring us to rhythm and movement. Also dancing increases volume of hippocampus and white matter in brain.

Europe Tour :: Summer 2022

I’m boarding the plane now to spend three months in Europe. Even being the (self proclaimed) “most well traveled Cancer Moon/Rising”, Europe still sounds exotic to me.

This is an exciting and rare time in my life where I have full freedom to be wherever I’d like, whenever (minus some restrictions).

I’m so excited to DJ Sunday Morning Ecstatic Dance PDX 🌲 🌳 🌞 🌳 🌲 this Sunday!

It’s been 8 years since I moved from Portland to Bali, and since then have shared Ecstatic Dance all over the world.

This will be my only event in Portland before a full summer tour of Europe.

I look forward to reconnecting with the current dance community. One I helped develop over a decade ago when I used to teach all over the town and host numerous community events.
