This week we have been back up to The Glasshouse in Gateshead to supply a full lighting package for their 20th anniversary gala diner. We lit the large atrium and iconic roof with Chauvet fixtures including R2x washes, R1x and R3 spots as well as a large about of up-lighters all controlled from an Avolites TT2. It was great to be invited to be part of this amazing venues celebrations!

Lighting the Hayloft at New House Farm near Lorton in the Lake District. The brief was “colourful” so we up lit the walls with wash lights so we could change the colours as the day went on and gobo washed the floor with ETC colour source profiles. The roof was lit with R1x spots, adding colour and texture between the roof beams. Not something we normally do but very happy with the results!

We don’t normally do weddings but last month we supplied lighting for Pete’s friend Helen’s wedding to Alec in the beautiful Lake District! The brief was colourful… New House Farm near Lorton was a perfect setting and the barn transformed amazingly using light with so many textures on the old stone walls.
We wish Helen and Alec all the best and thank all the staff and friends and family who made us so welcome!

Last week Live LX supplied lighting equipment and atmospherics for Birmingham's BMOS Musical Theatre Company production of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory at the Birmingham Alex.
The amazingly talented cast performed to packed houses for a week. The beautiful Scenery and video suppled by Scenic Projects and lighting design Pete Watts.

Live LX recently supplied The Classic Rock Show with a full lighting rig for their US tour. This was the first time sending a full lighting package stateside and involved some investment in equipment that will work both in the USA and Europe!

Live LX supplied lights and control for the Medows Stage at Catton hall over the bank holiday weekend. 30 different bands played the stage over 3 nights keeping out crew busy!
