Thank you again to all who support St. Mary's Wednesday Coffee Mornings. This week we had another lovely flower bench to raffle, this raised an extra £60 to the morning's takings. Grateful thanks go to Roy for donating the prize. The lucky winner was Carolyn. The money raised from the coffee mornings goes into church funds to cover all manner of outgoings such as insurance (approx £4,000 a year) and utility bills and to top up the building repair fund. This all helps us to ensure that St. Mary's remains open and welcoming and available for Sunday worship, Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals, the Food Pantry, Coffee Mornings and many other community events. The building is yours and we welcome enquiries about using it for your own events and celebrations.

A grand opening has celebrated the new facilities - including a social space, kitchen and toilet - at a village church.

AT LAST - We are pleased to announce that The Aisle was officially opened by Lady Dannatt, HM Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk on Tuesday 16th April. The ribbon to the new loo was cut by Eileen Gillians, former Churchwarden current sacristan and a faithful member of our worshiping congregation, who has waited, with crossed legs, for so many years to see this happen. A lovely flower bench, kindly made by Roy Cooke, was presented to Lady Dannatt as a thank you. A huge thank you from St. Mary's PCC to all who have helped us in any way to achieve our vision. St. Mary's, our beautiful building, has stood at the centre of our community over the centuries and we are only too pleased that, with the help of so many people, we can hand it on to future generations to love, cherish and enjoy as much as we do.
