What I’ve learnt since starting my small business is that there is no need to slash your prices and under sell your worth just to get bookings.
I love how many talented people I have met along the way. In so many different areas and this helps me offer a better service to my customers.
I can recommend people that do balloon displays, soft play, light up numbers, sweeties and so much more.
I can suggest halls to hire that I’ve had the pleasure to set up in.
Things I don’t offer I can suggest someone that I know does. But also if I’m booked up I can suggest people I know that offer the same packages.
Because guess what!?!?!?
They then do it for me. I’ve had bookings through people recommending me as they are fully booked or I offer a more suitable size.
It’s networking and building up friends, supporting each other and growing. When you work as a team it’s fun and you will probably learn new tricks too.
