👑 Meet the Team: Stephen Tebb 👑

I’d like to introduce myself Stephen John Tebb.

I have over 43 years experience in the hospitality industry. I’ve been in Scotland for over 29 years using the amazing Scottish produce to deliver to private parties, weddings and corporate events.

The length on the breath of Scotland. Before coming to Scotland I lived and worked in the Kent and Surrey where I studied at West Kent College, gaining City and Guild qualifications working my way up from Commis Chef to Executive Head Chef.

I have worked at the Royal Highland Hotel in Inverness then I moved to Brodie Country fare where I worked for 15 years, in the last few years I have worked at Good Highland Food at Moy which is an outside catering company.

I am married with two teenage boys. In my spare time I enjoy watching football supporting Tottenham, Hotspur and my local team Nairn County (so if I look sad, that probably the reason).

I also enjoy playing golf, and I’m very much looking forward to meeting everyone at Kings Golf Club, Inverness.

👑 Meet the Team: Ken Loades 👑

Starting in the prestigious Culloden House Hotel at the age of 16, Ken has since worked in kitchens around the world.

After completing studies at the Athlone Institute Of Technology, Ireland, Ken moved to Australia, working up the Gold Coast and most notably catering for King Charles at the Geelong Grammar School.

Upon returning to Scotland, he progressed from Commis Chef up to Head Chef through experience in hotels and restaurants across the country, before opening a bistro on the Edinburgh Royal Mile. Finally moving home to Inverness in 2008, he joined his good friend Scott Murray in developing Cru Hospitality, now bosting ten of the Highland’s top venues.

In 2023, Ken acquired The Ghillies Kitchen, offering bespoke catering for weddings, corporate events and private parties throughout the Highlands.

Most recently, he establised Brude's Bistro at Kings Golf Club, Inverness with breakfast, classic bar food, Sunday carvery, kids options, seasonal ala carte dishes and event catering coming soon.

If you see him in the kitchen, in his branded Land Rover or out with his wife Jenni and their children, Lachlan and Maeve, be sure to ask him what’s on the menu next!

King Brude’s Fort overlooked the current position of Kings Golf Club, Inverness and Brude’s Bistro in the Kings Club House is in tribute.
