I’m alive and in business I just haven’t posted in a while! A combination of Christmas craziness, new year flu and some of the worst snow and ice I’ve ever seen has meant life has been a bit of a slog recently.

This weekend was spent battling the weather to get to to deliver some delicious meals for a lovely group on a yoga retreat. With all the chaos I didn’t manage to get any snaps but food enjoyed included coconut and chickpea dhal, vegetarian lasagne, quinoa and black bean chilli, spiced carrot and lentil soup, rosemary focaccia, apple and berry crumble, baked ricotta cheesecake and chilli chocolate mousse.

The picture is something I managed to complete before Christmas, my first nutrition qualification! My knowledge in this area has always come from my passion to research and learn about it myself, however I wanted to formalise this into something official

BESPOKE GRAZING - celebrating an 18th birthday in style 🤤

This table was completely tailored to the birthday girls tastes, with some Japanese nibbles, alpine cheeses, rosemary butter candle and some platters of sweet nibbles - including chocolate dipped strawberries and marshmallows!

WEDDING FOOD

I had the honour of catering a beautiful wedding on Saturday at Grassington Village Hall.

Theme of the food was rustic Mediterranean, with options for Vegan, gluten free and dairy intolerances.

Garlic and rosemary focaccias filled with beef and dill pickle, beetroot hummus and vegan feta. Classic tomato and balsamic bruschetta with a whipped ricotta, prosciutto and cherry option. Continental meats and pickles, pork pies and chutney, feta frittata, herby pomegranate hummus, asparagus and Gruyère pastries, salads and more - it was a feast for the eyes and stomach 🤤

Back this week catering for a yoga retreat. I’m terrible at remembering to take pictures of all the food so this is only a small selection of what was served.
Dishes enjoyed were chickpea and spinach curry, buckwheat noodle salad with sesame tofu toast, gnocchi with sage and walnut pesto, veggie white bean soup with garlic toasts and a quinoa chilli with cornbread.
Desserts were a lemon and ginger cheesecake, chocolate and avocado mousse and a sticky toffee pear pudding 🍴
