We hope you have enjoyed our short time at The Talbot, it’s been an adventure for myself, Ryan and the entire team.
Since our short time here we’ve hosted some key events for the village and attendance has always been outstanding, yesterdays farewell party was no exception, even with a minor hiccup! Firstly apologies if you witnessed any bad guest behaviour, as a reminder we don’t provide child care as part of our offering we’re super busy as it is and always recommend parents supervise their children when in busy environments to ensure they don’t cause hurt or harm to themselves or others.
A very small group of people, will continue their hate campaign towards us, and everything we do and will continue to do. What is important to us and our team are the friends, families and guests that support our efforts to provide fun, safe and inclusive spaces, events and sponsorships for all.
The Talbot is simply bricks and mortar - it’s us, our team and you our guests that make it special. It will continue to be a pub in some way at least for the next few years while marstons finish the remaining term on a building they do not own, in fact it went up for sale on open market this weekend, one of a few reasons why we decided to leave.
We’ve been honest and transparent the whole way through our adventure it’s a shame the brewery hasn’t, to prevent any gossip or hate we’ll post pictures of how the pub has been handed back in good, clean and operational state.
We are going to have a short period of down time to rest and reset before our future events take shape around the community and we’ll post progress and information here as always.
We’ve got something special in the works and we can’t wait to share it with you all. 👀
Thank you to each and everyone of you that champions change, inclusion, fun and adventure. It’s you that keeps pushing us forward.
Peace ✌🏻, Love ❤️ & Rainbows 🌈
Marc, Ryan and our superstar team. 🏆🥇
