See Women in Rock at Wake the Lakes !!!
So it's that time of the year where we give the Queen a run for her money with a Christmas speech! As the WIRUK family roll into its 3rd full year we always love to reflect on some of the highlights! 2018 was a challenging year for many reasons but with a strong experienced band of musicians and a very focused management team, we overcame any obstacles thrown at us.The highlight of 2018 would have to have been invited to play in Prague for Harley Davidson. That one performance has opened so many doors for us and has only made the brand stronger and given us greater exposure far and wide. The arrival of our new vocalist Tanya has again created a new formula which has been greatly received by our audiences. She really is an asset to the already rock solid band. And so as we go into 2019 we will be performing at some amazing festivals and theatres and will be concentrating on quality shows to bring to you. There are some amazing bands out there also saluting the female greats and we hope to continue to being the very best in what we do. Our new exciting project will be up and performing soon, and our stunning Jen will be the driving force behind it so keep your eyes out! All that's left to say is again we never forget that without the support and love from all of you that come to see us, travel far and wide, none of this would be possible. We love performing for you and hope to continue to do so for a very long time. We hope to see you all very soon. Keep spreading the word and sharing the love. We wish you all a very happy Christmas and New year, and as soon as it's over We are in the studio putting the new songs together to bring you the best show we can for 2019.
