After a couple of months of David's baby grand piano being on its side storage position following the expert removal skills of Martindales Removals, it has now been righted and following the expertise of Piano Tuner Simon Wroe, is now back to it's former lovely tone.

Come and have a look, feel free to play and hear the tonal quality. Accomplished pianists are always very welcome.

If you are lucky you may see the Macaron Man become the piano playing Macaron Man. And if you're are really really lucky you might even hear the singing Macaron Man of Elephant Yard.

After a very busy period, we are coming to the end of the long list of Christmas 2021 Macaron orders. This is just a small selection of gift boxes awaiting collection later today. All of these orders will make not just a Happy Christmas but a special House of Macarons Happy Christmas.

With the help from Nicolas, our French pastry chef we are able to extend the deadline for orders for Christmas. The revised closing date is extended to 17 December 2021. Get in touch if you have any particular requirements.

Why not pop into the shop for our festive flavours, and range of gift box sizes. The festive flavours are sumptuous.

This year make Christmas a special House of Macarons Christmas.

A gift box of Macarons is suitable for any and every occasion.

Just a little reminder that orders for Christmas need to made before 10 December 2021 to guarantee Christmas delivery. We will try to meet orders received after 10 December in time for Christmas but we can not guarantee this. So get Orders on early and cross it off your 'to do' list and relax.

The House of Macarons is delighted to announce the arrival of Nicolas Mauran in early December to help meet the increasing demand for our Macarons and develop further ranges of our special treats. The demand is proving too great for a single person to keep up with.

Nicolas has a wealth of experience having worked in many restaurants and hotels in France and UK highly regarded for their cuisine. More recently employed as Head Pastry chef in 4* hotels in the Lske District. He is very highly regarded by his peers.

Nicolas originates from Nancy, in the Lorraine region of France. Coincidentally, Nancy is from where the Macaron originates being part of local history since the French Revolution in the 1700 when two nuns created the Macaron delicacy.

We will provide updates on the exact start date for Nicolas, but all are invited to welcome him to Kendal.

The expansion and further development of The House of Macarons will follow in the next few weeks.

Make your shopping trip for presents easy and stress free, by visiting our shop to view our Christmas gift range. We also have gift vouchers for those who like to choose their own flavour selection. Pick up an order form, list those you wish to receive the special Macarons gift boxes complete with a special message.
Delivery to other parts of mainland UK? - no problem.
Just tell us who will receive which Macarons gift box and we do the rest.

We're delighted to be providers of our Macaron Towers for weddings and celebration events held at The Tetley, the fabulous and iconic Art Deco building in Leeds, and being one of the top hospitality venues in the city. The Tetley will form the centrepiece of Aire Park following redevelopment of the area.

A busy day in the House of Macarons with several batches of Macarons baked through out the day. All ready for the luxurious ganache fillings in preparation for tomorrow (Saturday) and put on display. We would love to see you again.

By popular request, salted caramel filling is now available to savour. So pop down to the House of Macarons in Elephant Yard to sample. Take a rest and sit down in the cordial surroundings with a barrista style coffee whilst you decide on your favourite flavour.

Coffee on the go is also available, and we only use the finest Penningtons coffee and tea.
