Hi folks, this is a call for help for our dearest friends.
Justine has been battling stage 4 colon cancer since 2022 and went back to California to continue treatment when the options here ran out. The need to have her husband Henry and son Alec with her has become much more urgent in the past couple of weeks.
They need to be together.

You may recognise Henry as D.A.V.E. the Drummer, and if you've ever enjoyed the music he's produced or listened to any of his DJ sets, perhaps you might consider donating..

I'm often asked how I became a wedding florist, and I'd hazard a guess it started with my Grandmother (pictured)! She was a brilliant flower arranger and demonstrator for the south east area NAFAS, and she taught me a lot of what I know.
She and my mother won medals together at the Chelsea Flower Show in the 1970s.
They both created magnificent gardens where I spent my childhood, and my mother organised the Rochester Cathedral Flower Festival one year in the 1980s. I still have all her handwritten notes!
I'm keeping the tradition going by being a member of the Canterbury Cathedral Flower Guild - something I'm immensely proud of.

My degree is in French & Italian, but having grown up immersed in the Kent countryside, I think it's no surprise I was drawn to working with flowers..

Thank you to everyone who joined us! It was a big group, and so much fun.
Yuliya helped me plan this one, and we can't wait to do it all again next year! Thank you for your help as ever ✨️ Couldn't have done this without you.
It's been another bonkers week of work - no time for a breather - but I am determined to take some time off tomorrow. I shall attempt to deal with some admin next week, so if you're waiting to hear from me, I haven't forgotten you! x

Following a fabulous weekend of wreath-making in Molash (thank you all!!), I'm advertising my final workshop of the season 🌿

This one's a little different because will be held in the beautiful surroundings of the new Domaine Evremond winery in Chilham, and includes 2 glasses of their Classic Cuvée Edition I 🥂

So it's a bit of a bargain if you love champagne!

Because a little rain was forecast, we had to change plans to decorate the pagoda and create urns instead..
Rita & Olegs were brilliantly creative though - they moved flowers around through the day, to get the most beautiful shots. They definitely went above and beyond - I was so impressed! 🙌🏼
