Here comes Father's Day. First of all it was fab to welcome some old friends into Robbies last Sunday. It was great to see you Jeff & Janet, and a pleasure to welcome Gary Walker and son James. Gary and I go back a long way. Gary has been the resident caller at Mecca, Clough Road, for nearly 30 years, and he retires in August. Wow. Where have the years gone Gary? Gary used to also organise the entertainment in Mecca, back in the golden days, and he often booked yours truly for those fantastic parties he did. Happy days Gary. Wonderful times. And Gary & James also won 'who takes the biscuit.' Fab! Tomorrow we will make a fuss of all dads in Robbies Pub . Why not bring your dad into Robbies, because we just always love to have a good time. It's what life is about. Happy Father's day - wherever you are. Love to all xx

I can't believe we've got to another Sunday so quickly. Time just seems to be flying by, so don't waste it. Have lots of fun. Rose certainly did last Sunday. It was fab to have a full pub last week, for bank holiday Sunday. Thank you to everyone who came along and made the afternoon such fun. It was really nice to see some friends that I haven't seen for such a long time....
Good to know you are all well. Mr Taylor came along with Alma and it was their first visit to Robbies Pub .I'm pleased to say they had a great time and said that they will be back. So you go again on Sunday. It's going to be a sunny day so get yourselves along to Hutch, 6pm to 9pm, and forget about life for a while. Love to all x

Hello my darlings. It's a bank holiday weekend. Yippee! Usual means I get to see some people in Robbies Pub that we haven't seen for awhile. It would be fab to see you, from 6pm to 9pm. Last week it was a pleasure to welcome Cheryl's daughter (Cheryl is our lovely server of the mucho felicidad) and her family and friends. A big shout out for Gemma because she is now a qualified train driver. Wow. Thomas the tank engine is in for some real throttle by the wonderful Gemma. Lucky Thomas. I am in the town of Gaspe on the tip of Canada. This is where the French first claimed Canada for themselves. If you've ever seen the film American Graffiti you will have an idea of what Gaspe looks like. This is the one pub. Everything happens here - a bit like Robbie's. I won't be at Robbie's on Sunday but the wonderful SASS will be a wonderful replacement. Please give him a big round of applause. Love to all xx

Some dancing fun from last week....

A packed Sunday afternoon enjoying church - thank you Ian Broadbent - you are welcome in Robbies church anytime. Hallelujah. I've been really spoilt recently - I've been given lots of presents. A Rovers shirt from a pal, Flowers from Joanne H, a bottle of Jack Daniels from Christine & Dennis, and yesterday more chocolates from Victoria and a bottle of red wine from Mavis. I am so lucky.
