The End of a Era🥹✨🤍Xx

Just wanted to post a wee update for some changes coming to Little Cake and Balloon Co from January 2024 - Molly who deals with all the balloon and event side of the business is off travelling around the world which has always been a lifelong dream of hers!

‘ I can’t thank all my costumers enough for the continuous support over the years & helping me get to where I am today . It has been my dream since a young age to go off and travel the world and it’s finally coming to life!! I’ve absolutely loved being in the shop through all the happy , funny and very stressful times but unfortunately with going travelling I can’t continue to work in the shop.I’m so excited to start this new chapter of my life and wouldn’t be able to do it without all the support from my customers over the years. When I started my business at 17 never would I have imagined it would be where it is today!’

Lovely Leah will be remaining in the space and carrying on doing her fabulous cakes and baking! We are looking to rent out my space in the shop , it is suitable for someone working in the industry such as Gifts , Candles or event related business .

✨ All Balloon bookings that have been made for 2024 will still being going ahead.

Thank you so much again for everyone’s support & I will post updates about my journey along the way! Looking forward to my last 2 busy weeks for Christmas and new year.

Happy Sunny Tuesday ☀️ I am absolutely loving the heat the last couple of weeks! However, your cakes do not love the heat 🥵

Please remember when collecting to follow these instructions:

- make sure the AC is blasting in your car
- make sure to transport your cake on a flat surface such as the footwell or boot of car. NOT on the car seat or by holding it 🙅‍♂️
- place cakes straight into the fridge until use 🧁
- do not leave them out on the counter top, in a hot car or out in the sun ☀️

If you have any doubt regarding transportation or storage of cakes please just ask 🥰🤍

We have a lot of left over stock for a Sunday from the school fayre and gala day.

It is all discounted to £2 but still fresh, we are just closed on a Monday/Tuesday so need it gone today!

As many of you may know my lovely Gran was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on 30th March 2023 💗

She is currently bravely undergoing chemotherapy and is well on her way to kicking cancers’ ass 💪

She is one of the strongest women I know and has been like an extra parent to me my full life. Watching her fight this illness has made us all feel a little helpless. Which is why I’ve decided to use my health to help better others lives in a similar situation.

This Sunday 18th June I will be running the Glasgow Women’s 10k raising money for the amazing Beatson charity - where my gran and over 60,000 others are receiving their treatment. 🎀

The Beatson supports those with cancer and those affected every step of the way. It relies mostly on the generosity of the public in order to continue to deliver crucial treatments and services.

This date also marks the 46th wedding anniversary for my Gran & Papa making it even more apt for me to do this 💗

Please donate whatever you could afford, whether it be 50p or £50. Any donation goes a long way and is hugely appreciated. We will also be running fundraising events within the Little Cake & Balloon Co store such as charity bakes, raffles and £1 donations from every order from now until the event. 💘

A beautiful cake for the lovely Lauren & Callum at the stunning . Always a pleasure being asked to be a part of a big day! Especially for something so vibrant and unique.

Apologies for the radio silence this week 🤍 we had a beautiful family wedding on Friday and then I have spent the weekend in Italy 🇮🇹💘

I have had the best time but ready to come back to work tomorrow for a hugely busy weekend 💗🫣

We are fully booked for large cakes this weekend but still have availability for cupcakes 🥰💗
