Tonight is the night for Langport and Huish's Christmas tree lights to be switched on.
Look round the shops and the market, listen to the choir and give a little cheer when the tree starts to twinkle. The switch on is at 4.15pm.

We got a mention on Langport TV ! The lights, bows and pinecones are on, all ready for the big reveal on Saturday at 4.15pm. Big thanks to Peter Cooper-chadwick for getting the lights up. We couldn't have done it without him.

Langport Artisan Market is getting ready for Friday and Saturday markets. You will find them on in the town centre from 10.00 am to 6 pm. This will coincide with late-night opening by some of our fabulous independent shops and businesses.
They will be joined on Saturday by Mid Wessex Singers for some carol singing and Parrett Entertainment and Community Events - PEACE who will be switching on the Christmas tree lights at 4.15 pm. See you there.

Christmas is coming and this year we have a tree in Langport! After you've looked round the shops and visited the Christmas Market next Saturday, come together on the town island to listen to carols and see the tree lights being switched on.
