‘CaSu’ are in action next Tuesday at Rudyard Flower Club. Come and have a go at an arrangement including fresh grapes (see my interpretation) below. All you need to bring is flowers, foliage & grapes. We have floral foam you can purchase or you could do foam free. Ring Carol or myself if you have any questions. See you there for a fun night!

Fabulous night at Rudyard Flower Club although we missed you Carol Alcock!! Our ladies tonight decorated their own bottle bags and how lovely they are - well done to all. Next month is ‘Red Vine, White Vine’ an arrangement incorporating grapes (see my interpretation) and Carol did a ‘Blue Peter here’s one I made earlier! parallel arrangement. This Tuesday everyone is Rudyard Flower Club. I’m on my tod as Carol is galavanting to London. We are decorating bottle bags with either dried or silk flowers so why not come and have a go. We will have many laughs and I will be demonstrating ‘White Vine, Red Vine’ for next month so I’d better get my thinking 🤔 on. All welcome.

Rudyard Flower Club has been lovely tonight. Carol & I were delighted to welcome 3 new ladies - Angela Clarke, Jill Oakden & Kathleen Stephens - our club is growing! We have had some laughs and enjoyed one another’s company. The ladies did arrangements in wine glasses & just look what they achieved - absolutely amazing. We are so proud of you all and really do hope you have a go at Leek Show Flower Design in July. If anyone would like further details on what our club is all about then please get in touch. Next month is a decorated bottle bag (see examples) so watch out for my next post 😊

Well, what can I say! Just look at these stunning door wreaths Rudyard Flower Club ladies made tonight. Twenty-six talented ladies enjoyed making their own creations and they will all look fabulous on your front doors of where ever you choose to hang them. Well done everyone. It’s nearly Christmas folks and Rudyard Christmas Tree Festival will soon be upon us. Over 20 glorious trees decorated to depict the title ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’. There will be stalls, a Chinese Raffle, a quiz, organ recitals and wonderful refreshments prepared by yours truly! We have a treat on Saturday between 2 & 3 pm - a visit from Santa for children & adults!! Rudyard flower club is on Monday 27 November. You will need to book in as we are providing your wreath frame & moss for you to make your own Christmas door wreath. You can purchase binding wire from us and all you need to bring is secateurs & the decorations you wish on the wreath, ie holly, ivy, yew, fir cones, baubles or other decorations of your choice & ribbon to finish off. Come & make your own creation in a friendly & fun atmosphere. Ring myself or Carol or text to book in. Everyone welcome.

I’m excited to promote my first Charity Craft & Textile Event at St Paul’s in Leek. This is an opportunity for crafters to showcase their products and textile wares to the public. You will be able to see crafters in action and get to know a little more about what they do.
