We aren’t just training florists, we’re creating friendships, bringing confidence to creatives and happiness to hearts. F*%k I love my job.

It’s a funny thing creativity, it waxes and wanes. There has been so much planning of late, that it all feels like it’s just happening in my head… so it’s just delicious to be back on the bench bringing the proposals to life… this was for Ksenia yesterday.
I can’t wait for May when we let loose with our 10 career course students… two weeks of wild creativity, watching the students find their own style…

A G R A • W O O L // so we filmed this last year and never got round to popping on the grid! It was the first time we had tried @agra.wool.international as a method to reduce our foam use. I can proudly say we use this a majority of the time. Small steps, steady progress… less foam.

Ooffff…. All the colours and texture. Can you spot the honey suckle? My new favourite snip out the garden. Speaking of which, the cutting beds are so far behind right now, but we are finally getting some blooms to add to our unique bridal bouquets… and Rebecca got the first round this weekend when she married Tom.
They celebrated (with the football!) on the family farm. It was all the Darling Buds of May I needed this wedding season!

F L O R I S T // they never drive Ferraris, wear expensive jewellery, spend winters in the Caribbean. They scrub buckets, respect thermal underwear, they adore meaningful conversations with customers sending their emotions via nature. They break nails, get up at dawn, try to look presentable after grafting 40 hours over one wedding, smile with relieve at their cherished Brides & Grooms. They never want to *not* do their job, I mean all we do is ‘play with flowers’ right?
We had a good play here, we needed it. I love my team. Individual skills, excellent team. We are working on something special coming next Spring, a career course... bringing my 10 years of SFC together. Watch this space.
