WEDDING STATIONERY TIPS ✨ You need to save this one for when your ready to order your save the dates, invites and day of stationery 💌

• You only need one save the date / invite per household not per person
• Get spares, particularly to save for details shots (give a full set to your photographer on the day of your wedding, they’ll know what to do)
• Get spares, in case you’ve accidentally missed someone off the list / or your work circumstances change (you may want to invite more people if there nice)
• Prepare people with info. Make sure you have date, time, location, RSVP date and where to, dress code, kids? Anything you feel you want to tell your guests written on the invite
• Get the same stationer to do all your save the dates, invites and day of stationery for continuity
• Ask for RSVPs back a good 3-4 weeks before your venue need it from you. You will always have people to chase
• Day of stationery can include; welcome sign, personalised menus, seating plan, place names, table names or numbers, personalised signage for the bar ect…

Well, Hello 2024! ✨

For those of you who are new to my page… Hi 👋🏻 I’m Kathryn. Planner, Coordinator, Perfectionist, Organiser, Designer & Your Bridal Bestie 🤍

I have been lucky enough to be in this wonderful wedding world for nearly 9 years and can’t even tell you the amount of weddings I’ve planned, coordinated and been part of. But I still love this industry as much if not more than the day that it became part of my life 🌿

Few little insights to me:
📝 I am a huge paper fan! You will find me with a notebook as well as my laptop when it comes to meetings
💍 I am engaged to my best friend so I know how your feeling about guest lists, table plans and styling options!
👦🏼 I a stepmum (soon to be officially) to a wonderful little boy
☕️ I can’t get through a morning without at least one tea or coffee, so my favourite place to meet would be Starbucks or Costa. I’m buying!
🍫 Chocolate forms part of my love language, I find it hard to choose a favourite

ENGAGEMENT SHOOTS 📸💍🤍

As a future bride I also get how your feeling when it comes to someone else taking your photo. I am terrible when others take mine. I’d highly recommend having an engagement shoot with your photographers. This gives you chance not only to feel comfortable in front of the camera but to get to know one another as well and feel relaxed around them 🥰

With most photographers you can add this on as an extra to your wedding day package, and choose the location of where to meet. We chose to do ours in the place we got engaged 💍

It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but the bouquet toss, is a beloved wedding tradition, that carries a rich history.

In medieval Europe, it was believed that possessing a piece of the bride’s attire brought good luck. To escape eager guests, brides began tossing their bouquets as a diversion. Today, it symbolises passing on happiness and love to another.

What does a Wedding Planner do for you on the day of your wedding? 🌸

As your Bridal Bestie my role is to make sure you have the best day possible! I want you to be able to relax, soak up the day and enjoy yourself with your family and friends.

We create my wedding day to-do-list at your final details meeting around 4-6 weeks to your big day. From welcoming suppliers to fluffing your dress. I will be with you throughout those final hours before the i do’s all the way to your first dance (and beyond if you need me) allowing you to be in the moment!

On the day tasks can include:
- Acting as point of contact for your venue, suppliers & guests
- Assistance with final styling/décor touches
- Welcoming suppliers to your venue and making sure they are setting up in the right place
- Collecting you for your ceremony (with tissues in hand) and making sure your dress/veil is perfectly positioned for to make your grand entrance

1️⃣ Reflect Your Style: Let your personal preferences guide you.

2️⃣ Draw Inspiration: Gather ideas from sources you love. Pinterest, pictures of past weddings at your venue, Instagram and bridal mags are all great sources of inspiration.

🌸 FLORALS : Flowers play a signifiacnt role in any wedding.Adding colour, fragrance and a senseof romance

✨ ACCESSORIES: They help tell the story of your wedding day. These can be anything you will bewearing or using to get ready.

💍 JEWELLERY : Ensure your detail photos capture the essence of your style by including key elements such as your necklace, earrings, bracelets and rings

📃 STATIONERY : Wedding invites, save-the-dates, menus, vows and place cards in your detail photos help show of the colour pallette of your wedding.

Here’s a top tip you’ll want to SAVE for later. And one I’ve been telling couples since I first got into the industry over 8 years ago 🙃

Amidst the whirlwind of wedding hosting, remember to pause and savour precious moments with your partner🥂 After all, it's your day, a celebration of and for the two of you!

Steal a private moment here and there, make a promise to check in with each other every hour, go for a walk, sneak into the wedding breakfast room early so you can see it in all its glory before your guests pour in.

However you do it, just make it happen - you can easily get caught up in hosting and speaking to everyone that you don’t make enough time for each other.

🍸SIGNATURE COCKTAILS 🍸
A simple, amazing and non expensive wedding day drinks tip is to serve a signature cocktail that represents you or your wedding theme. Not only is it a fun and creative way to personalise your wedding, but it can also be a great conversation starter among guests.

When creating your signature cocktail, consider using ingredients that have a special meaning to you as a couple, or reflect the colours and flavours of your wedding theme. Or just rename your favourite cocktail something personal to you!

Another great tip is to offer a variety of drink options that cater to all tastes and preferences. Have a selection of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages on hand, in addition to your signature cocktail. This way, everyone can enjoy a drink that suits their taste and lifestyle.

My favourite cocktail is either a Pornstar martini or an Espresso Martini depending on my mood… what’s your favourite? 🍸❤️

What should you consider when choosing your wedding date? 💍🩷

One of the first things you will want to think about, after you've finished off the copious amounts of prosecco (maybe that was just us) is your wedding date!

Your chosen wedding date becomes a celebration each year and could be honoured using traditional gifts – paper for year one, cotton for year two, leather for year three, silver to celebrate 25 years of marriage, and if you’re incredibly lucky then diamonds for 60 years. I am one of those lucky people to have been able to celebrate Diamond anniversaries with both of my Grandparents and it's such a momentous occasion!

You might opt to go for more modern spin on your anniversaries. Either way this is a date that you will be celebrating for years, and hopefully, decades to come so it’s something that should be given careful consideration.

Several factors could influence your choice of wedding date:
· Dates that already have sentimental meaning
· Consider your budget
· Honeymoon location and timing
· Style of wedding you would like
· What’s your favourite season
· Any important events around that date

No matter what your choice is make sure it’s a choice for YOU! You may want to ask VIP members if the bridal party about your date (I.e parents ect), but no matter what your friends and family will be happy for you regardless of when you get married 🥰
