We don’t just turn up to your event on a whim and wing it - there are hours upon hours (upon even more hours) of unseen concept planning and prepping! Of which you may only see a snippet make it onto Instagram 👩🏻‍🎨💖

This weekend’s festival vibe garden party was to celebrate our clients twin’s 21st & son’s 18th birthdays. Wow!! This was certainly a party you wanted to be on the guest list for! 🪅🪩🍾

Our client reached out to us wanting to add some finishing touches to the fabulous Capri Marquee (huge shoutout to .of.woburn for recommending us), but they didn’t what it was that they wanted 🤷🏻‍♀️

Here’s a snippet of what followed:
- We curated moodboards for a few different themes for the client to choose from (image 1). From these the client was able to pick out aspects they really loved ❤️
- We spent time creating a visual quote, to allow the client to see our vision clearly 🔮 (following images)
- We reached out & shared this vision with trusted suppliers for the balloons & .events.bedford for the light up numbers - we love collaborating with other passionate businesses within the industry! 👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏾
- Then the prep work begins! Plenty of late nights tasselling for the custom shimmer wall surround + plus additional metres upon metres worth, archway mock ups, drowning in disco balls & super sparkly chandeliers! 🛠️
- Day of event load up, travel & install (this one took 5+ hours) 🏋️‍♀️
- Take down the following day and then the unload all ready for the next event! 🚚

For us The Shimmer Sisters isn’t just a side hussle, it’s a passion 💖

One thing we love about our Summer shimmer wall is it’s versatility! Look at those gorgeous blue and aqua reflections from the surrounding balloons 🪩💙

Hi! Jade & Leah here, we thought it’s been a hot minute since you’ve seen our faces 👋🏼

It’s been almost a year since we launched The Shimmer Sisters, we can’t quite believe it! A dream born out of being unable to hire a shimmer wall for our family members hen party. (The back drop we ended up with looked… well… let’s just say not the shimmering display you’d expect to see from us now)

We’re actually cousins (not sisters) and we LOVE nothing more than making sure you have THE perfect photo backdrop or display for your event.

Thank you to everyone for all your support for the last 11 months, we cannot wait to style your upcoming events soon 🧚‍♀️
