It's been a bit quiet on the misic front this last year what with bringing our newborn baby girl into the world and Covid19 playing its part its fair to say I've been otherwise occupied but now, it's time to hit back and find my groove again.
Soon there will be new mixes and a special live feed or two live from from the Encore Room HQ and maybe a wee announcment of a return to the scene when this virus allows it.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for some exciting stuff to come.
Also myself and The chimp will be playing at Ruined as soon as this is over when we will perform a Glazby Tribute set not to be missed.

We don't have long left to decide guys so let's get pen to paper and sign your lives away this weekend and get on down to see these awesome DJ's smashing it out and also for our favourite sister sloth, Miss Mad Hatter's 30th Birthday and leaving the UK doo.

CALLING ALL PROMOTERS

OccasionalCharlie has been in the hard dance scene for over 15 years where he started as a clubber at the famous Sundissential night @ Club DNA John Bright Street Birmingham when he found his love of Hard House and Dance. For many years he was well known to most of the club scene for his crazy dancing and colourful outfits seen in and around clubs across the whole of the Uk and Europe where he attended all the main Events such as the Tidy Weekenders and Pollysexual, Insomniacz and Sundissential just to name a few. It wasn't until the year 2005 when Lee (OccasionalCharlie) became interested in Dj'ing. He moved to Cambridge where he set up his own Studio and bought his 1st set of decks (Technics 1210s and from then on he began to teach himself to Dj. All he knew was what the music was meant to sound like but no clue, as to how to make the sound happen so, for 6 months he practised every day in the studio learning how, to become a Dj.

After many recordings and a year down the line he started handing out mix tapes to club promoters and was rejected a number of times due to not having the minerals to take control of the big stage until one day however, a call came from Tony Shine Hunter when OccasionalCharlie was offered his 1st Live Club set and it was at Shine in Digbeth at the time the club was called (OC'S but today you know it as PLUG), Birmingham in 2006 where he played out to 200 people for the very 1st time. The bug for him was real and his life as a Dj started right there and from that day on, OccasionalCharlie went on to play in some of the most prestigious well known club nights in Europe including B2T @ The Q CLUB, Birmingham, Subway City Main Room , Rapture Loughbourgh, Starlite Club Leicester, Shine Birmingham and Many more.

In 2008 November he moved to Scotland where he gained residency at Karma Nightclub for the short period of time before moving to Tenerife in May 2008 where he gained residency at Tramps Nightclub, Playa De Las Americas, La Isla (Las Americas) Bobby's & Busby's (Las Americas) and also went on to Play in Tunisia at Cacoon Nightclub Hammamett.

Since then he has had a Break from the scene to concentrate on his working Career as a head chef which he is still fully focused on however. OccasionalCharlie moved back to England in the summer of 2016 and has entered the Hard dance world once again starting with 6 months residency at The Kat Presents Online Live show and from there he has built a following with Encore which is his new label and brand putting on Events @The Encore Room. He has recently played out to a respectable crowd at unit 9 Milton Keynes for Off The Rikkta and also produced his first track with two very talented engineers waiting to be signed.
