My wonderful Dad passed away very unexpectedly in May…hence the reason for me being so quiet on this page. He was probably my biggest supporter when it comes to my business, always sending me ideas and coming up with things for me to make and stretch my imagination. Whenever I made something I was really proud of, I would ALWAYS send him a picture. It took me a long while to even want to create anything, I wasn’t sure I wanted to carry on but I know that he would be so cross at me for giving up my passion. In the picture is a brand new sewing/embroidery machine. He bought this for my birthday only a week before he died, in fact the last time I saw him was when I went to pick it up. We spent a whole day together researching the best one. He was so excited for me to put it together and try it out but unfortunately he never got to see what I would do with it. It’s taken me until now to even open the box. It’s been sat in my front room for the past few months. I finally felt like I had the strength yesterday to do it. Anyone that knows me will know what a big deal this was. It will take a while for me to learn how to use it, but I’m confident that when I do, my Dad will be right by my side cheering me on and saying ‘it’s about bloody time!’ ❤️❤️❤️
