Terms and Conditions

By paying a deposit you agree to the to the below terms and conditions (Please read below)

All goods for hire remain the property of Lucy Sumner. Unless you ask us not to, I reserve the right to take photographs of the hired equipment for promotional purposes. Under no circumstances can any banners or decoration be attached to any of our equipment. Our equipment has been professionally made and painted; clients are not permitted to stand drinks on the equipment as this may result in staining and water damage. Any damage to the equipment caused by drinks or glasses will incur a charge. Missing items or damaged items will be charged at the full replacement value, we will not accept any substitute replacements. Making Bookings
Enquiries can be made by e-mailing [email protected]. Upon receipt of your enquiry, I will confirm availability for the date. The date will be provisionally held for 5 days and confirmed once I have received your non-refundable deposit of £50 for filled hire and £30 for empty hire
Payment
The non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking to secure your date. This will be deducted from your total balance. The outstanding balance is due 4 weeks prior to your event if you have chosen FILLED hire this can be made via BACS payment. Dry hire (Empty) the balance can be paid cash on the day.

Cancellation
I understand that occasionally circumstances do change, and we reflect this in our cancellation charges. You can cancel your booking any time up to 4 weeks before your event, this would only occur the loss of your non-refundable deposit, If cancelled after this time frame this would be a loss of 80% of the total balance.
Please note that the booking deposits are non-refundable on all bookings
If for any unforeseen reason I am forced to cancel your order then you will be notified by email and all deposits and payments made will be refunded in full.
If a date change or a location change (or both) is needed please contact us as soon as possible to see if we can accommodate the change as this may not always be possible but we will always do our best to accommodate. If however, we cannot accommodate this change your booking would be cancelled and the above terms apply.


Set up
It is the client’s responsibility to seek permission from the venue and to ensure there is sufficient space/table for the equipment at the venue and near a socket point if needed. All set up/collection costs are included in the packages (please check each package to see what is included). Once the equipment is set up it can only be moved by myself. It is also the client’s responsibility to ensure there is a loading bay or equivalent at the venue to allow me to unload and reload the equipment.
Safety Information
Please be advised that some foods may contain or have traces of allergens, they may also have been in contact with products and sweets containing allergens. I cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from any food allergies. I cannot be held responsible for safety issues which occur from the use of our equipment or consumption of our foods at your event. Clients need to make me aware of any allergens that your guests may have and we will do our best to minimize contact.
