Groove Music Events) are an event company currently located in the North West. We are a subsidiary of the Twisted Groove Music Group who also own and run Twisted Groove Recordings. TG Recordings release and promote electronic dance music, whereas we focus on promoting live acoustic and band nights. Our aim is expand on the Twisted Groove Music Group (who at current, offer services such as music workshops, music instrument and DJing tuition and run the EDM label mentioned earlier). We have so far promoted 2 events since starting up late 2012. Our first was at Heebie Jeebies basement, Liverpool where Cold Shoulder (who are now supporting Neil Young on tour and have supported Cast on tour in the past), headlined. The first show was very successful and the funds raised from entry where donated to Valley Theatre Liverpool, a charity who run a recording studio and multi-functional venue for use by local youths to keep them off the streets at night, whom which we work with promoting various shows for, to raise funds for their amazing venue. We managed to raise nearly £300 and were extremely shocked when boxer David Price was standing in the crowd (we think he was friends with 'Mohebbi' who also played the night'. Our more recent night at Lomax Liverpool was also in aid of Valley Theatre and we raised just £60 but the night was very enjoyable and the venue still seemed quite packed out for a Wednesday night.
