My gorgeous couple and celebrated their wedding on Llanddwyn Island, home of Saint Dwynwen- the Welsh Patron Saint of Lovers in September last year.

Drawn to adventure, they threw away conventional expectations of what a wedding should be and did exactly what made them happy!

🌟Shannon & Ffion – Mrs and Mrs Dwynwen🌟

🌟It wouldn’t be right to celebrate today (Saint Dwynwen’s Day) without a shout out to these two amazing humans.

🌟On one of their first dates, they ventured to Llanddwyn Island, home of Saint Dwynwen, the Welsh Patron Saint of Lovers. On the way to the Island, walking through Newborough Forest, the light shone through the trees, as if they were enveloped in their own magical elvish world. Captivated by Llanddwyn (and each other), they chose to adopt Dwynwen as their married name, embedding precious memories of their time there into their lives forever.

🌟It’s easy to see why they choose the enchanting woodlands as the ceremony space.

🌿✨ A magical throwback to when we set the stage for a stunning elopement at the foot of the spectacular Aber Falls earlier this year!

Fran & Fin were captured handwriting their Vows into keepsake Vow booklets before we created an intimate elopement ceremony at the foot of the waterfall, sealed with personal vows and a symbolic handfasting. 🌲🌿

All my elopement ceremonies include a bespoke post ceremony toast so we can pop a bottle of bubbly/ your favourite drink and celebrate together!

Earlier this year I was lucky enough to help & Andy celebrate their elopement on gorgeous Rhosneigr Beach, Anglesey. From heartfelt moments in the ceremony to the intimate moments captured against the incredible backdrop , Andy and Mica's day was nothing short of magical.

🌊Porth Cwyfan & the Church in the Sea (St Cwyfan’s Church) - Anglesey

🌟Now, I may not be able to lead your ceremony in this Church, but we can get close!! Next year, and , have chosen this incredible beach for their intimate micro-wedding.

❤️With spectacular views of the Anglesey Coastline, close proximity to Anglesey Circuit (for our car enthusiast groom, whose face lit up when we chatted about the sounds of racing cars setting the soundtrack to their ceremony) and the iconic backdrop of St Cwyfan’s Church; for Cath and Danny this is their perfect spot!

❤️I'm Alex, a fully accredited, fun, friendly and adventurous Wedding and Elopement Celebrant! ​​​​​​​​​I am passionate about helping couples make their dream wedding, micro-wedding or elopement happen!

⭐Anglesey Coastal Ceremony Spots - Penmon Point⭐

This little spot is a hidden gem! On the eastern tip of Anglesey is this unique holiday home with uninterrupted views across the Menai Straight towards Eryri!

Back in May, and I were lucky enough to be invited to share Yvonne and Natalia's special day here.

As the sea mist lifted, the crystal clear waters and the incredible backdrop created a perfect, private and magical setting for their bespoke ceremony.

You'll need to book early to secure this hidden gem - but trust me it's worth it!

In follow up to my poll, where Secret Waterfalls came out as the top pick for micro-wedding and elopement spots, I thought I'd share some stunning pictures from a shoot earlier this year at the not so secret Aber Falls!

Last weekend we had the most fun celebrating & getting married!

And boy was it a good-un!

Beloved Labrador Reggie 🐕 stole the show and started the ceremony, with his wise words of advice for his pawrents. Luckily he had his trusted hooman companion, Hannah, on hand to deliver his thoughts!

Then it was back to the love story of music lovers Becca and Joe (which, in true student style, started in a kebab shop🍟 called Mr Chips😂).

In tribute to their love of Guns n Roses, we wrote a few words in to the ceremony, reminding them both of the time Joe booked them tickets to go and see the band, only to later realise they already booked a holiday for the same dates!!! Doh!
