Day 14: Rickae and Malik. I want to start by saying thank you to everyone who has followed our 14 days of love from day 1. We are now on the last day, VALENTINES DAY and I see no better way to close than with my very own love story. Love is unexpected, I didn’t go looking for it, it just came in the shape of a Nigerian man. Love has its trials but in those trials knowing you have a partner to hold your hands and help you navigate your way through the storm is also the key to love. Love can be romantic but it can be trying. It’s not always fairies and roses like movies make it seem, love is WORK but if you put in the right work you will reap an amazing outcome. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Day 13: Sylvia and Osbourne. Our grandparents generation’s love is unexplainable. It’s the love that many of us aspire to have. There is nothing else like it. That undying love, a love that is so pure that it can withstand anything. Our grandparents generation brought a different meaning to love, it transcends through generations and generations. Their love stories have been told to our parents, to us and will also be told to our children. Their generation gave meaning to this magical word. Despite the challenges which they faced their love stood firm and gave them motivation and comfort in those trying times. As we continue through life let us never forget the love they fought so hard to preserve, let us cherish it and continue to use it on our mood board of love. “Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. Day 7: Today we celebrate Galentines Day. I would like to present to you beautiful people myself, Rickae Brown (the CEO) and Kenyah (the COO). There is no accident why I have chose this video to be on the 7th day of love, this is more than just a number to me. It is my favourite number and very special for many reasons. 7 represents completion and perfection. God created this amazing Earth in 7 days. 7 is considered a lucky number. I launched this business on the 7th day of September. 7 also represents the amount of years Kenyah and I have been friends. Love also comes in the form of friendship. A true friend shows you love unconditionally. Having love in a friendship gives it a different meaning. It is something that is hard to come by but when it comes it is worthwhile holding onto.
