That was incredible! Thank you to everyone who made it down last night for our first debut since 2019!

We took a huge risk throwing an event in less than 3 weeks of announcing it and I'm honestly lost for words how well this turned out on such short notice and competition we were up against!

All sets were recorded (need to ensure everything went smooth first so no guarantees yet) but each week we will upload 2 sets from the night to YouTube with direct audio! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for these!

Unfortunately the venue we played at last night was the last ever event to happen with them and I'm greatful they allowed us to close out down their venue in style! Until we find a new home we hope to return every 3/4 months with better notice this time and bigger production and future headliners!

Today's the day!

- Doors open 10pm (last entry is 1am, be sure to be through the door by 12:55am with tickets ready)

- nearest stations are:

brixton (Victoria line 24 hr, 8 minute walk)

brixton (southeastern line, 6 minute walk)

Loughborough Junction (southeastern and Thameslink, 8 minute walk)

- Tickets will be available online until 12:55am, if you choose to pay in cash on the door please make sure you have £15 exact, there are a few atm's near by.

- Remember there's a £2.50 beer happy hour from 10pm to 11pm if you want to grab a great deal for the night!

- set times will be released closer to the time!

RULES:

This Saturday we have 12 old and new faces joining us to throw down in this sub-genre clash!

Expect to hear oldschool, riddim, deep, tearout, melodic and brostep all night long!

We are running a few new offers for the night :

What to expect on the night:

- soundsystem tower rig (we couldn't do bass roots without bass could we? 😉)

- all sets will be recorded (direct audio and 360 camera)

- soundproofed venue (it'll be loud)

- only an 8 minute walk from brixton tube station (24hr Victoria line service)

Bass Root Spotlight: DETXCHED XPRESSION (DX) A UK-based DJ/producer. Having started DJing 5 years ago, he soon found the natural progression into producing and has been creating experimental tracks across the "bass music" spectrum for around a year. At the start of his journey through music, he stumbled across the likes of Coki, Skream, Megalodon, Dash Total'd, Subfiltronik and the one and only Shiverz. There's an infinite amount of artists that he has been exposed to but he has taken major inspiration from the contemporary "Riddim" dubstep community and has been utilizing intricate methods and techniques in his own DJ performances. During university was when he would practice all night, perfecting his craft. In his third year however, he landed various club nights playing out drum & bass, bassline or dubstep. Just after the second year of university, he went back to back with Disciple's "MVRDA" in Southampton, completely destroying a venue and it's people with hefty double drops and chops. Be prepared for a set of not only wonky destruction, but for some old-school dark room shakers and wobbly sub bass too. See him perform at our event on November 30th along with many others!
