When you feel like you're alone and your cries are heard by none, remember Jonah [p] in the belly of a whale calling out to God, "There is no one worthy of worship but You, praise be to You! I've been of the wrongdoers."
In a place without cellphone reception, God answered and said, "So We responded to him and saved him from distress. And thus do we save the believers." Us. He saved Yunus like He can save us.
And when you're surrounded by barriers, remember Moses [p]. Standing in front of the ocean, a tyrant and his army pursing him and the people he was trying to save exclaiming that all hope is lost. Moses stood firm and said, "No! For sure my Lord is with me; He will guide me." And the sea split apart miraculously. So can the hurdles in your life.
And when dealing with haters, remember Virgin Mary [p]. She came back with a baby and her people were shocked and ready to accuse. But God made her and Jesus [p] a name still praised for His sake. So, too, can He make you.
Even in their hardest tests, God did not leave them for a second. As the Prophet (s) taught us to pray:
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَـيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum birahmatika astagheeth aslih ly sha'niy kulahu wa la takilny ila nafsy tarfata ayn
O Ever Living, O Self-Subsisting and Supporter of all, by Your mercy I seek assistance, rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye. (Hakim)
Even in the darkness of the belly of the whale, know He also doesn't leave you.
