Very unsexy but necessary studio job occurring today. Keeping your precious video data safer (allowing for a more robust data storage solution), and also allowing for full 1 Gig fibre to the AV Room making for more solid live streaming, this will also be run to the main studio to allow you to directly wire in via Ethernet (ideal for those more critical livestream auditions). We will also be 10Gig ready when the local infrastructure allows. Like I said, not sexy, and you’ll probably never know it’s there, but we really do like to offer you the very best.

Studio reboot day 4: The weather isn’t behaving itself so sorting out AV Room wiring today. Second only to gaffer tape, the most unsung hero of the studio is the humble bongo clip. These little beauties will hold anything to anything - once you’ve used them, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without them!

Today a new toy has entered the studio ready for testing… my amazing Blackmagic 6K’s will always be front and centre, but they don’t do autofocus, and I’m going to need an autofocus camera for an exciting project later in the year….
