Join us for a captivating evening at Studio Yukari as we celebrate the opening of Roca Exhibition, featuring the renowned Japanese photographer, Kitaro Kasukabe, Naoko and huahua.

Kitaro Kasukabe will present his work, sharing insights into his artistic vision, his journey with Roca Magazine, and how Japanese culture influences his distinctive approach to Ki***ku photography.

The evening will feature: 🔸 Live Photoshoot: Watch Kitaro direct a short photoshoot with Naoko tying huahua and how he captures precious moments in Ki***ku  🔸 Commentary Session: Gain deeper insight into Kitaro’s creative process – from lighting and angles to the details that bring his photography to life.

This 4-part class series will take you through the fundamentals of Japanese rope bo***ge, focusing on safe techniques, creative expression, communication and aesthetics. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to expand your skills, this course is designed for YOU. 🌸

Class 3: MOVEMENT - body handling, following reactions and timing
Class 4: STILLNESS - sinking into a tie, adding the next rope and finishing the rope.

Studio Yukari is honored to be hosting Mistress Chiaki, deshi of Naka Akira, for a Nawa Kai in August.

Nawa Kai can be translated into a “rope meeting” which is a tradition in Naka Style. It is a place to share stories, experiences about Ki***ku - the history, the philosophy, the culture and the aesthetics.

This special Nawa Kai will consist of an interview/discussion followed by demonstration.

The interview and discussion will be led by Mistress Chiaki and Naoko, two female deshi (disciples) of Naka Akira. They will share their Sh***ri journey, their unique interpretations of Naka Style from a female perspective and their experience tying with people from different backgrounds.

It will be followed by short demonstrations where they tie freely and organically - without rehearsal and without music. Mistress Chiaki will be tying with a male submissive (to be announced) and Naoko will be tying with a female rope bottom.
