Rafe Spall in The English wearing a striking jacket made by our tailor Dan. As you see from the 3rd photo, we made duplicates of the jacket. This is quite common when a costume needs to be in different stages of breaking down throughout the show, or when the actor needs to be part of a fight where things might get messy! But can sometimes also be to be worn by a stunt double.
Please Note: deadline should be Wednesday the 7th (this week) not on the 14th as previously stated by mistake. Apologies!

Want to look closer? We’ll take you closer! 💛🌻 Here for your viewing pleasure is the yellow pelisse from Emma, worn by Anya Taylor Joy and featured on the posters for the film. Alex Byrne’s design was based on an original fashion plate which you can see at the end of this film, and made by Julia Buckmiller here at Cosprop. The fabric is a silk with a lovely texture that we happened to have in our fabric store at time. Our dye room dyed it to the brilliant yellow colour which is so iconic. The hat with its dramatic plumes was made by our milliner Kat Goodall. The only way to get closer to this garment is by buying it in our charity auction! Organised for @thebrightfoundation by @kerrytaylorauctions all proceeds goes to further John Brights vision of bringing arts and creativity to children in need. #johnbright #cosprop #costumedesign #lightscameraauction #emma #anyataylorjoy #regencyfashion #janeausten #regency #pelisse #costumedrama #filmmemorabilia #moviememorbilia #periodcostume #historicalclothes #historyoffashion
