Well that wasn’t the start to the week that I was hoping for - I tested positive for COVID19/20/21/22 (whatever version we’re in this year) this is the 3rd time I’ve had it now and I’m sooooo over it!

When ordering your Wedding Invitations, order AT LEAST a spare one or two to give to your Photographer so that they can create a beautiful flat lay and capture it along with some of your other Wedding items such as your handbag, your perfume, your hair accessories etc…

HAPPY NEW YEAR 🍾🍾 Wow!!! I’m usually quite prepared for the start of a new year, but for some reason 2022 just feels like it’s come a bit too quickly for me lol… (We’ve still got the Christmas tree up and still haven’t gotten round to taking our annual family a Christmas photo 🎄🤭)
But on a personal note I’m grateful for all the laughter and lessons last year gave me and on a business note I’m grateful to each and everyone one of you that supports my little business - whether as a Client, as an active follower or a silent follower I’m truly thankful and I look forward for all this year has to offer and I hope that it’s your best year yet.
I didn’t bother to set any resolutions for this year - I’m going to continue working towards my personal and business goals…

1. Order your Thank You Cards at the same time you order your
•This will mean you have them at hand to send to anyone that sends you a gift before your Wedding
•You will have them at hand to send to any Suppliers that you want to thank along the way
• You will also have them ready and waiting for when you need them without having to worry about ordering them after your Wedding.
2. Order at least 10% for spares
• You may want to send them to any Suppliers that you want to thank along the way
• You’ll need some extras handy for any mistakes you may make when writing them out
3. Aim to send them out as soon as possible, but no more than 1 month after your Wedding (3 months if you’re going on a Honeymoon)
These were a Bespoke Design I created for back about 5/6 years ago for her Wedding at and reception at they were digitally printed with Hot Gold Foil and hand-finished with a sprinkling of Crystal Diamanté’s (swipe for a close up of the Rose detailing that was carried through from their Wedding Invitations)...

💕 I love paper...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even when I was a little girl, give me some paper and I would sit for hours with paper, pens and my perfectly sharpened pencils - drawing, writing, sketching - I’ve always loved to design and wanted to design clothes and shoes when I was younger... maybe one day 💌⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💕 I love statement coats...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To my husband’s dismay I could probably easily wear a different coat every day for 3 (or so) weeks - I assumed that most people had lots of different coats to compliment their outfits until the ladies at school gates kept asking me how many coats I have? FACT: One of my biggest regrets in life was not buying a coat I tried on in Ted Baker - it fitted me perfectly and had a beautiful fur trim around the bottom and on the cuffs. I’m not ashamed we all have our vices... 😜⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💕 I love Sugared Almonds...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you know what they are, you probably 1. Got them as a Wedding Favour and have them away 2. Mistook them for a chocolate egg 3. hate them and that’s OK, cos it always meant more for me lol. I love sweets and anything with Almonds so these are a match made in heaven for me. FACT: I brought my first daughter’s pushchair because it was named Sugared Almond 🍬⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now I’ll be honest and say that when I received the mood board for this Shoot, I was a bit scared 😱 by all the bold colours 💐🌷🌸🌺 as they’re not my ‘usual’ style...

But I’d already agreed to do the shoot so backing out wasn’t really an option 🙅🏽♀️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then after we discussed the brief where my signature design style of sparkly Crystal embellishments ✨ ribbons, fabric boxes or presenters didn’t quite meet the brief 😢

I thought ‘crikey 😳 what have I gotten myself into?’
and
‘How the heck am I going to do her Styled Shoot justice?’ 🤷🏽♀️

But Linda of is such a lovely lady 😍 and she had such a strong vision for her shoot and I also knew just how much effort she was putting into it, that I wasn’t going to let her down...

So I dug deep to create these beautiful and elements and I actually LOVE how they turned out...

The year we learnt the unthinkable is absolutely possible, the year we got to live in our homes we work so hard to pay for, the year we saw the true value in bog roll we flush down the toilet, the year we appreciated our teachers and NHS workers and even got to clap for them, the year we got to spend time with our family members we often take for granted, the year we got to pause and realise that life truly is for living... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’m actually really going to miss this lil guy... who’d have thought one little Elf could bring so much joy, magic and laughter to our home... hearing the girls squeal with excitement as they see his daily antics is actual music to my ears ✨❄️☃️🎄
