“Andri – you truly are a gem!”

Hearing these words from one of my couples still makes me smile. Their autumn wedding at Banking Hall was everything they hoped for, elegant, seamless, and full of personal details. From the gorgeous flowers to the show-stopping cake, it all came together with the help of a wonderful team of suppliers.

What meant the most to them? Being able to enjoy the experience without stress, knowing every detail was being looked after. That’s exactly why I do what I do.

Thinking about an autumn wedding?

For this wedding, we skipped the expected orange tones and drew inspiration from the couple’s stunning Art-Deco venue and exquisite Lambeth-iced cake. Layers of deep reds, blush pink, touches of gold, and hints of black set the mood: bold yet romantic, seasonal yet entirely their own.

An autumn wedding doesn’t have to look one way. It can be as distinctive as your story - warm, stylish, and unforgettable.

I’m still very much in holiday mode and will be back in the office on Monday, but let’s kick off 2025 with a little introduction.

Hi, I’m Andri, and it’s lovely to meet you!

I live in South London with my husband (Mr 😎 and our 19-year-old son (still can’t quite believe I’m the parent of a 19-year-old!).

When I’m not planning beautiful weddings or drawing concept illustrations, I love reading, cooking (both savoury meals and delicious bakes), and going dancing—my next clubbing weekend is already booked for February!

I’m a non-drinker, so it’s mocktails for me. I don’t drink tea or coffee either (though Mr B insists I make a great cuppa!), and my favourite chocolate is extra dark—70-90%.

Growing up I dreamed of being a ballerina, but puberty had other ideas. Next on the list was to be an artist, and I think I’ve come pretty close!

In 2024 I decided to embrace my wavy curls (and frizz!) so I’ve been experimenting with various curly hair methods - still a work in progress! Photo 3 was a good curl day 😉

Day 4 “Wet”

I’ve had a few wet weather weddings! As I always tell my couples you really can’t rely on the British weather to play ball.

On this wedding day I left London on the morning of the wedding in the pouring rain hoping it would get better by the time I reached Surrey, as the plan was to have an outdoor ceremony. It was still heavily raining when we got there so we began to set up inside. An hour before the ceremony was due to start the sun came out and we made the snap decision to take everything outside as originally planned.

I wish I could say the sun stayed out but 5 mains before the bride was due to walk down the aisle it started raining again!! We’d committed to outside so we carried on, after passing the umbrellas out. Despite the rain the couple still couldn’t contain their joy as they were getting married and didn’t stop smiling. What’s a little rain when you’re marrying the love of your life ☺️

The rain stayed light during the ceremony but minutes after it had ended the downpour came - scroll to the end to see a little video snippet!

Rain or shine, love always wins—and this wedding was a beautiful reminder that even a downpour can’t dampen the joy of such a special day. !

Reminded today of this all white destination event we planned. From the all white roses and orchids, modern gold cutlery, letterpress stationery and the personalised Mulberry key rings to the soft natural textures of the table linen and draping to the contemporary hanging festoon lighting - every detail was considered.
