OMG FINALLY IT’S OUT ! ‘PRISM OF PLEASURE’ ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I’d like to say this is a few years in the making but it’s really decades because I have dreamt of this moment since I can remember. My Mum has a diary entry that says ‘Emma told me she wants to be a pop star today’…I was 8 years old. Not sure what you would call what I am doing now, I didn’t know it was an option growing up but I feel deeply proud and incredibly honoured that I get to release my debut album on my dream label celebrating female and q***r pleasure and stand next to a billboard with my album artwork draped across it. I’d like to tell 8 year old me, 18 year old me, 28 year old…it will happen just not as you expect it ✨
Thank you to everyone who worked alongside me for this and to all the fans that have ever been to a gig, bought a record or just sent a lovely message. It never goes unnoticed and keeps me going through the difficult moments. To my darling for your beautiful artwork that I could only have dreamt of and unwavering support, Kieran my long suffering manager, My Mum who is my true hero and who always seen me for me, my team at Ninja Tune my lovely label and all my other collaborators… John Caroll Kirby, Rupert Clervaux, DR ME, Oli Lipski, Dot Major, Pearson Sound, Tim Bran and Ash Workman.
Finally, the record is dedicated to my Dad…thank you for not thinking my silly dreams were too big.
