It's been 10 years since our wedding, how time has flown! On that magical Friday, September 13, 2013, our family began its journey.

The magic endures, not needing photo archives to recall. Just closing my eyes brings back a sunny autumn day, vivid and clear in my memory.

The first thing I see is the beautiful girl, with a bright smile and kind eyes.

The first thing I hear is her voice saying, "Love is patient and merciful..." Evgeniya spoke like a fairy, officiating not just a touching ceremony, but a magical joining of our hearts. Her words still hold power.

🌟 A Peculiarity that Shines! 🌟
Confession time! 😅

When I first started thinking about holding wedding ceremonies here in London in English, my Russian accent was my biggest fear.

The fear of being rejected by the couples or being mocked at was so intense, that I could even think about my wedding career in London for more than half a year, always postponing it, finding excuses and ruining my self esteem❌

But then I had an epiphany! 🌟

I realised that my accent isn't a flaw, but rather my unique touch. Especially being a Russian from Central Asia, as local accent from that region is considered to be pure and beautiful with a pure melodics of Uzbek and Kazakh.

It adds a touch of exotic charm and individuality to my voice. 💫✨

Now, I embrace my accent as my superpower, making each ceremony I officiate truly one-of-a-kind. 💍❤️

I am happy to be part of the organisation team of this event!😻 The Uzbek Culture and Food Festival returned triumphantly, drawing crowds to Potters Field Park near Tower Bridge for a captivating celebration of Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage on 8-9 June 2024. Amidst the picturesque setting, attendees immersed themselves in a vibrant tapestry of traditional music, dance, culinary delights, and artisanal crafts. The festival kicked off with a spirited opening ceremony featuring the resonating melodies of Karnay Surnay music, setting the tone for a day filled with cultural exploration. Event presenters Davron Kobulov and Kamila Anvar led the festivities, with an inspiring opening speech by Uzbek Ambassador to the UK Ravshan Usmanov and Member of President Administration Shuhrat Haydar, accompanied by other distinguished guests. Special attention was drawn to the captivating performances by popular and esteemed artists and dancers of Uzbekistan. To conclude the day, these dancers, alongside the festival’s cultural programme coordinator Milana Zingerman, organised an engaging dance flash mob featuring the Andijan polka, inviting all festival attendees to join in. The performances wrapped up with an energetic set of hits from DJ King Macarella, which got everyone up and dancing. A special highlight of the festival was the presentation of the “Person of the Year” award to Kamola Makhmudova by the Uzbek Diaspora in the UK. Kamola was honoured with this distinguished accolade for her exceptional contributions in organising the festival and uniting the Uzbek diaspora. Her boundless energy, kindness, and expertise were instrumental in making the festival a remarkable success, enjoyed by over 80,000 attendees for the last two years.
