Think it's time to say goodbye to the summer and our lovely outdoor sessions and say thank you for all the beautiful light it brought us. How i loved watching the shadows and the light play and make patterns on and under the parachute.
As the colder season emerges, there may not be outdoor sing-alongs but the light will be a'plenty, within and without. Just less sun-cast patterns and more glowsticks and discolights (within and without 😊)!

Sometimes, between the magic and the mayhem you just gotta lie down and stargaze for a bit and sing a couple of rounds of Twinkle Twinkle 🌟
What a week ❤️
First full week back and so lovely to see you all again and meet new beautiful bubbas. Not quite as lovely to hear some of you 🤣 but i get it, when you get together with friends it's easy to get carried away.
The thing is, when there are lots of you- which i am very grateful for- and you've all paid a pretty penny, it's unfair on the guests who want to join in if they can't hear what's going on.
And you really do miss some gorgeous moments when you're caught up in a natter. Yes, my sessions are a social solution but they're also an opportunity to really engage and immerse and play with your child. Talk in between the songs more and less during. One thing's for sure, though, whether it's chaos or calm, it's always beautiful and i can't wait to see you next week!

The ukulele is a mother's friend! How sweet it is.
I used to always play guitar at my sessions. Until I got pregnant and lost my hips and couldn't balance it there anymore (why didn't I use a strap? Never occurred to me til now..). But with the ukulele I could feed my baby whilst entertaining my crowd! Win win.
And every week at my sing-alongs when inevitably someone toddles up for a strum, I can lift them and play at the same time. Perfect. It wouldn't work as well wuth a guitar.
My babies (now 12 and 15) came to work with me from 4 months old. Which at the time made perfect sense but now feels kind of crazy, actually!

It's been a fantastic summer filled with singing in the woods, festivals, parties, discos and musical joy in abundance.

We ended August on Friday with my awesome Family Disco (and it was epic!) We kicked off September today with a Music Time session in the magical tipi at Lewis Of London Ice Cream Farm and now we are ready for the new season and it's gonna be great!
