London Musicians - come and join us for a workshop introducing and demystifying the wonderful rich tradition of Arabic Music!

This Saturday, Egyptian Oud master, Tarek Elazhary, hosts a special workshop at The Harrison, ahead of his performance with Tamsin Elliott at our All Day Folk Festival at Jamboree on Sunday.

Bring your usual instrument and learn an Arabic tune with Tarek, whilst he shares numerous insights on the rhythms, melodies and accompaniments of Arabic music.

The workshop is 2.30pm to 4pm.
Tickets are £5, but I have some free places for those short of funds, hit me up if you want one.

London musicians - here is a beautiful thing :-)

As part of the big Harrison All Day Folk Festival at Jamboree, I managed to book the remarkable Tamsin Elliott & Tarek Elazhary to perform.
Their recent ground breaking album totally blew me away.

Tarek has kindly agree to hold an INTRODUCTION TO ARABIC MUSIC WORKSHOP at The Harrison on Saturday 25th May at 2.30pm. Tickets are £5.
Places are very limited!
Musicians should bring their normal instruments (voice, guitar, flute, ekulele etc) and Tarek will teach an Arabic tune, whilst giving insights into the structure of Arabic music.

We are utterly delighted to be hosting All Day Festivals again!!
But this time we won't be trying to squeeze 200 people into our tiny basement, we are taking over the beautiful Jamboree Venue around the corner! Huge thanks to Rena for lending us her lovely space.

We are holding 5 monthly All Day Festivals, one for every festival missed since the Pandemic!
These are crucial events for the survival of The Harrison, since we have a huge Covid rent bill to clear in the next few months.

Come spend an afternoon, evening or all day enjoying the very best live folk, jazz and world music around. Genuine musicians playing their hearts out because they love it.

We always have a super friendly crowd - everyone is welcome from kids to 80-year olds, all races, sexualities and genders, rich or poor, cool or quirky. Come and enjoy the fun.
