Grand Final Blackpool 2023 🏆🏆🏆💃🏼🕺🏻🏆🏆🏆
I'm still buzzing after the Blackpool Grand Finals on Sunday. What an incredible day - absolutely seamless planning despite thousands of competitors across the weekend - How does Nicky Miles do it? I have no idea, other than an extremely efficient, hardworking and enthusiastic team and years of experience - and yet always time for a friendly chat with everyone too. I'm in awe.
Once again I was thrilled that all my pupils did so well - a welcome reward for their very hard work and commitment through the year. As a teacher I'm so proud of them all. Despite a very large number of competitors, almost all my students reached the finals, with two thirds achieving first or second place - wow.
Many many thanks to Nick Miles and his team - the whole place looked fabulous, extra touches such as the Barbie-themed Photo Booth for the Party Night, and the electronic results board were just great. The music was fabulous as always, the timing of the events was impeccable and we are all so grateful to the eleven judges who stood from dawn until well after dusk, marking every single competitor ❤️
