Here's some behind the scenes footage from a winter wedding that I did just a few days after Christmas for the lovely Charlotte and Mark ❤️
I had a 6am start on a freezing cold day and as always we were working to a strict deadline. There was a ceremony room, dining room and lots of stairs to dress. ❤️
The couple chose a simple white and green colour scheme with lots of candles - unusually the venue allows real candles in the dining room, although it's strictly LEDs elsewhere in the building. ❤️
I built the floral towers on site and made the other arrangements and bridal flowers at my studio. The lit candles looked beautiful with the simple white flowers and made everything feel so warm and romantic.❤️
After setting up we stayed to move the towers from the ceremony room to the evening reception area and I managed to get a few snaps of the bride before the ceremony. ❤️
The venue is stunning. It's a Grade 1 listed building nestled on Dowgate Hill in the City of London called simply Eight and a Half. It has just undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment. it was a pleasure to work there. Even though it is very grand, it felt intimate, cosy and very special. Perfect.

I don't often do this but today I'm sharing some snaps from a lovely day out in my old stomping ground in west London with a former work colleague from CNN where I worked in my first career as a journalist - before I became a florist. It was good to catch up with an old friend and be back in an area of London that I absolutely loved.❤️
They say never look back but I have such fond memories of my old life and they make me appreciate my new life too because I am so lucky to have had two careers that I love and I can't wait to get stuck in to the rest of 2025 ❤️

This piece was for Suzi and Frank's wedding a couple of weeks ago. It's made on a willow wreath which has been covered in chicken wire to hold the flowers in place and is hung in the centre of the atrium. I wish I had taken a close up photo before we hung it because it really looked like a meadow of flowers not all of which can be seen in these images.🌸
I'm looking forward to going back to the Mansion in a couple of weeks for the last of our summer weddings. Doesn't time fly! 🌸

All things bright and beautiful 😍 Some sunny jam jars all packed up and ready for delivery. Packaging can be tricky and very time consuming especially small vases and jars which have to be carefully packed to protect both the flowers and the vessels, without spilling any water!
I always keep boxes and any packaging materials that I might receive to recycle for my own packaging. This is of course very good for the environment but it does mean I also have a house full of empty boxes! 😕

Behind the scenes on Kerry and Jack's wedding day last month. There were a lot of pieces to finish off on site with this wedding including a huge mantle arrangement, pew ends and raised table centres, which we're installing here 🌺
Transporting flowers can be very tricky so it's often easier to make part of an arrangement in the studio and add to it on site which is what we did here.🌺
Kerry and Jack wanted lots of colourful flowers to contrast with their sage green bridesmaid dresses and table linen - perfect for a summer wedding 🌞🌺
