🇬🇧 BACK BRITISH FARMING IN 2025 🇬🇧
This is the Billington’s, a proud farming family that has evolved from traditional farming to become gin producers too.
Rob & Lizzie as pictured here at their distillery, situated on their family’s 650 acre, 4th gen family farm which milks 550 Holstein cows.
Ann and Andrew (Lizzie’s parents) the family’s backbone, have three children, and ensuring the future of farming in the local area, while helping new farming families establish themselves - is no small task. Through hard work, planning, and determination, Ann and Andrews children have each carved out their own paths within the agricultural industry, from dairy farming and goat farming to ice cream production and gin-making.
The Billington’s are passionate advocates for British farming and the education needed to help the public understand it. Farming is much more than animals and tractors, it’s about the land, heritage, and the possibilities that arise when family farms are supported with the right mindset, community, and planning.
Rob continues to farm alongside his father-in-law and brother-in-law, finding fulfilment in continuing the family’s legacy while also being part of a new venture - Wild Fox Distillery, which he co-founded with his wife Lizzie in 2019.
For Lizzie, product development has always been a passion, and creating a product from the land has been both a rewarding challenge and a great success. Farming has many facets, and it’s vital to show farming children, who can sometimes have a sheltered view of the world, that there are countless ways to engage with and succeed in farming as each generation moves forward.
