DJ'd a 60th tonight in a venue I never knew existed. Junction 23 Truck stop bar/restaurant. What a lovely little place - took me by surprise. If you're looking for a venue for a smallish party (around 80) you could do a lot worse.

Having been fed, watered and entertained by the Army Cadet corps of drummers, I managed to do 2 hours of disco work. A great bunch of people who made me feel extremely welcome. Thank you to the Widows Sons, Masonic bikers.

Well have had a busy couple of weeks. Last week was at the Lyric Rooms in Ashby for a joint 18th/21st and this week saw me at Burleigh Court Hotel, working on behalf of Bang Discos for the Restricted Growth Association conference disco. No pics as too many younglings, but rest assured, good times were had by all!

Well that was eventful.....
*Guest bounced of a speaker and sent it flying (luckily still works)
*Toddler switches off the power to sound on one side.
*Another guest falls into booth - luckily saw him coming and braced for impact
*Another guest nearly demolished the lighting rig.

But I survived and think everyone had a good night!

Very quiet dancefloor this evening, guests just left me to get on with it while they chatted. Had a really funny old school comedian to share the stage with. Nice atmosphere all the same and with such a quiet dancefloor, gave me plenty of time to torment the waitresses!

Well it's been 5 years (give or take a bit) since I DJ'd here. Nice to see some familiar faces. Guests kept me busy with requests for South African House, Polish dance tracks and Punjabi/Bhangra.

Belton Village Hall was tonight's venue for Cheryl's 50th birthday celebration. A lovely little venue. All the guests were really nice and was a fantastic atmosphere.
