WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK!

Wednesday Pub Night - Tonight is our weekly Wednesday pub night. Bar open 8pm til late. Join us for a pint and catch up with the locals.

Monthly Summer Friday Pub Night - This Friday the doors will be open from 6pm. Serving your Friday fish and chips fix are the delicious Fish Heads.
We will also be showing the first game of the Euros live at 8pm.

Sunday 16th June - Showing the first of the England games for the Euros. Doors open at 7.30pm. Grab a drink, pull up a chair and enjoy the game with friends.

Anyone looking for a job just had this sent to me!

Earning Opportunities- wedding catering staff at Crow Leasowes Farm 13th July 2024.
2 waiting on front of house, 1 kitchen porter. This is younger son Ed and Kitty’s wedding . Ed has a festival catering business so has 4 of his team here but they need some extra help. The hours will be 12-12, circa £12.50 an hour.
Glastonbury will have passed this year ( Ed has 2 pitches ) but there are possibly opportunities beyond the wedding. He has a team of around 20 who return each year. I know they love working for Ed - he makes it fun despite the long and physically demanding hours. They come here to clean down and store away so I’ve heard it from them rather than hearsay !
I will pass details to Ed and he will take from there.

To celebrate National Cream Tea Day we will be putting on a delicious spread of clotted cream tea, homemade cakes and light refreshments. Everyone welcome 2pm - 5pm ☕️🍰

LUKE COMBS TRIBUTE - 19th JULY
Pull on those cowboy boots and dust off your hats.. this is going to be one hell of a night! We’re so excited to have David Bounds entertaining us as Luke Combs.. And after all that dancing we can’t let you go hungry, keeping you fed is the delicious Alfie's Kitchen.. Bar & Food open from 7.30pm

Just wandering if anybody locally remembered or who knew my late mother Carole Vivien Palmer who lived at the larches who sadly passed away last Feb 16th 2023 over in Spain where she had lived for 23 years.

For anybody that does your welcome to attend either the remembrance burial in St Peter’s at 5 pm or at the village hall in Stanton Lacy SY8 2AT at 5.30 pm where the will be some light refreshments.

If you’re able to attend please give a quick message on here so we have an idea of numbers for food etc.
