IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Customers,

Dean here, I have some important news to share about Fleurette.

Sadly, I have made the very difficult decision to close the business down permanently. Our last day of trading will be next Wednesday 31st July (any funeral work agreed for after this date will still be completed).

Since the passing of my lovely mum, I've found it incredibly hard to continue the running of the business. It's been a huge struggle dividing my time between the shop, my family and my dad who has dementia who is sadly deteriorating. It's been a tough few years to say the least.

I made the hard decision to sell Fleurette over a year ago and thought that the business could continue with a new owner. However, with obstacles thrown in the way relating to the shop premises, this sadly wasn't to be. I did explore all other options but they were not viable with continuing the business successfully.

I would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank all my customers who have been incredibly loyal and supported us over the many years we have traded (in Park Street, Hitchin Road & Stockingstone Road). From the bottom of my heart, thank you to my staff (past & present) who I will forever be grateful to. I wish them all the very best for the future. Also, a big thank you to Co-op Funeral Care Luton and all my suppliers. I will miss you all.

I will be at the shop for the first couple of weeks of August, selling off items half price (which i will post up separately - ranging from vases, teddies, cards etc) and emptying the shop etc, if anyone would like to pop in to say farewell you are very welcome to.

Good morning all, yesterday evening (in broad daylight) we had both number plates stolen from our grey delivery van from outside our home address in Luton.

We are having new plates made ASAP and thankfully this will not cause any issues with today's deliveries.

However, if you see a vehicle (other than our grey sign written van) with the registration plate BN61 KZP, we would advise contacting the police.
